genfren
The gem installer doesn't work: nothing gets installed, and I can't use the search feature or the Show availables modules feature because they don't show nothing.
wolstech
cPanel doesn't support the version of rails we have installed. Try setting up your rails apps manually. This link explains how to do it: http://wiki.helionet.org/Deploying_a_Rails_application_on_HelioHost

wolstech
Not sure about that one unfortunately Hopefully someone here with a knowledge of rails will know more about that problem than me. I've never used rails myself.
techy
thanks anyway !! I've been looking around and it seems the gem soap4r its no loger supported and the posible solutions may not fix it, and even if it could be fix at some point I'll have to learn ruby really well in case you update Ruby, RoR or Gems. Just 396 post left to my domain!!!i can't figure it out without spam,it feels weird not reading trolls, just like the old days...

bytronics
Please advise on the following:- I have installed my aplication fedena on mod_rails. How do i achieve the following:- i) Installation of current version of mysql gem on your server, one I have installed is out of date. The Cpanel feature for installing gem is not functioning.ii) The ruby version on your server is 1.9.1, to run fedena smoothly using mod_rails it must be downgraded to 1.8.7. Fedena works great on ruby version 1.8.7 , rubygems version 1.3.7 (using mod_rails) The mongrel has proxy server issues, so I switched to mod_rails. bytronics
Dear Support admins, Please install for me mysql gem. My account name is bytronic (Johny server) and domain is wsmadibosoft.com. The consultant who performed for me the ruby on rails application installation advises me that the installation requires root privileges which only an admin can do. Please help.
