  1. Yes... C/C++ can be used to code both high-level programs as well as low machine-level assembly codes. I am now learning JSP (java based version of ASP/PHP) for my college project... but I dun think it would ever land up in my list of favorites.

  4. Both are almost similar... VB.NET uses the new .NET framework wherein VB is also used as a OO language with hierarchy of class and all other OO features... whereas traditional VB isn't OO... its just you write normal Basic codes with a Visual Interface.
  5. No... it is supposed to be a program that reads through your lines of code written in any language and add appropriate (and sarcastic) comments to those lines.

  9. Yeah rite... I m not visiting ur site then... Background music is a strict no-no and I hate useless Flash animations, coz I have limited bandwith on my account. One thing about fonts... if u use certain fonts which are installed on your machine, visitors won't see them, they would still see the text in Times New Roman or Arial.
  10. I prefer dialup... I like to wait for long hours for web pages to get downloaded... plus I like to show-off my hugely inflated telephone bill... too bad, every ISP is now switching to broadband here... I miss the good old dialup days
  11. coding languages are languages u use to reprogram the cpu to do certain tasks.... high-level languages like c, c++, vb, java has a more human-readable syntax whereas low-level languages such as ASM uses machine code to program the processor.
  12. I've never used a branded computer... I'm quite happy with assembled ones.
  13. Neither do I. Hotmail is way too cluttered... I prefer Yahoo... but I like GMail's new features.

  16. I guess Europe has pretty stringent laws regarding emission, some of which is also followed here in India... but the problem here is that people who own old vehicles don't like the idea of selling it and getting a new one.
