Hello Jeret. Unfortunately Stevie suffered a major crash 2 weeks ago. It is being fixed, but it will take a while. I have a Wordpress website as well and I am experiencing the same problems, as in I can't edit my website due to database crashes except for emptying the error/backup logs until Stevie is fixed. Are you getting the following errors #1030, #2013, #2002 as these are the common errors a lot of us are getting in MyPHPAdmin? My website works most of the time. I do get occasional database connection errors, leave it a few minutes then it will work. The main cause of the problem is Innodb tables are read only after the crash, not editable. So any edits you attempt on your Wordpress website will not happen. I'm having the same issue. If like me you keep receiving backups via email. Check your disk space usage on cpanel and delete the error logs and the webmail as your disk space will fill up, as that is happening to me also.

Good news for me is I've stopped receiving the error logs via email nearly every hour. Still getting database backups though. I tried to edit my database this morning, but no dice! keep getting #2013 error connection to server lost. I take it the server is still down?

I have found the cause of the problem. I keep getting backups sent to my email as the error log is looping caused by the server crash I guess. On Tuesday I first noticed this and tried to fix my database but the server is erratic and keeps crashing and won't allow me to make changes to the database or via my Wordpress dashboard. I discovered last night my webmail had 643 messages about the backups I deleted the lot which has bought my disk space down. All I can do for the moment is keep deleting the error logs and webmail messages as it is these that are causing my disk space to fill up.

Tried to delete my comments table on my database today and yesterday as it contains 2 spam comments. Keep getting a #2013 error connection lost to server or request undefined. I tried to convert the table to IMySam on Tuesday it wouldn't do it kept getting an error. When I tried it just the server crashed when I tried to access the table to attempt to convert it again. I can't make changes on my wordpress dashboard as the database will not save the changes.

Same here Wolstech. I have my WP Security setup so it emails me if I add content, update plugins etc, database backups every 5 days. It was sending me backups four times an hour at one point today so my phone was going nuts. I noticed I had tons of emails yesterday for backups etc. Which would explain why if the server crashed. When I was trying to fix it earlier MyPhpAdmin was being erratic would work one minute ,then crash the next. I managed to delete the error log on cpanel as that was ramping up the disk space the log was 200MB at one point so maxed my disk space when my website is 197/200 MB as when I would delete the error logs on Wordpress it would regenerate a few minutes later, hence getting bombarded with emails. Fingers crossed. It's all quiet now. Will have a look at it tomorrow. Nice one!

Hello. I've been having problems all day with my website. I did post another topic earlier regarding this, as I understand it maybe a database server issue, as others are having similar problems. http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/18437-1030-got-error-1-from-storage-engine/page__pid__100763?do=findComment&comment=100763 However I have a new problem my disk space is ramping up when I haven't updated my website in weeks. The problem seems to be in Better WP Security as I have two spam comments I can't delete as I keep getting mysql errors if I attempt to delete them via Myphp. As they wouldn't delete on Wordpress. The error logs I have cleared but then they regenerate, as any changes I make on my Wordpress dashboard is not saving. I did see another post about the same problem I deleted the error log in my public html directory as it was 202MB, this has freed up space so I am currently on 298MB/500MB. But it regenerates a few minutes later. I'm clueless when it comes to backend stuff. So I need advice please on what else I need to look for I did see in the other post it mentioned core files, what are these? My website is working fine it seems to be the database is playing up or the database server, as could connect one minute, then not the next and the database is not rewriting if I attempt to make changes. My website is around 200MB slightly less in size normally. Any advice would be great

Ok! Nice to know it's a server problem. But I need to delete the spam comments. However each time I have tried to delete the spam it reappears a few seconds later and is causing problems with my error logs on Wordpress. Is that due to the database not being able to delete them due to the errors? Like I said tried various methods on Myphp and kept getting various errors #1030 and #2002 can't connect with server or something to that effect. I am having database connection errors too. My disk space is rapidly filling up as well due to issue with not being able to delete the spam comments as when I clear the error logs it just reloops and keeps emailing me the error log and database backup which I have now disabled receiving these by email. But it's not me doing anything to fill the disk space as I have not added any new content to my website. I have tried to disable comments, but it's not allowing me to on my Wordpress dashboard as it won't save the changes. Is this due to the Innodb problem or has my website been hacked?

Hello. I am having a problem with my website. I can usually perform maintenance with little problem by clearing the error logs and deleting the spam via my wordpress dashboard. I have two spam comments in my spam folder except when I try to delete them they keep reappearing. I did google a solution which was to use a delete command in myphp with my sql. I went into my database and picked the wp_comments table and clicked delete. I then tried the delete command but in both cases I keep getting the following message when I hit Go and I can't delete the spam. Error SQL query: DELETE FROM `robdog75_wp`.`wp_comments` WHERE `wp_comments`.`comment_ID` =3 MySQL said: #1030 - Got error -1 from storage engine I have tried to empty the table and got a 2013 error saying connection lost with the server. I haven't got much of a clue with databases so if any one can help me out here. That would be great. Rob

Hello Tjoene. I managed to reactivate it a few minutes ago. Didn't spot the email. I have done a backup too, so that is my login for this month. I only tend to do backups when I have added new content to my site. But will make it a monthly thing from now on. So I login to HH. Cheers. Rob

What annoyed me the most was with GoDaddy setup. I created the database with the plan of using the same details and database as I did on Johnny i.e. robdog75_wp. On GD you can't use underscore and the database name and my username have to be the same and it wasn't linking to my domain name. Then it took me ages to find the database hostname as it's not localhost like on here. Your right about they are fine with domain name stuff. But when it comes to hosting they assume I know what I'm doing. The FTP guide tells you one thing, the video something completely different. So tomorrow I will attempt to sign up with Stevie I think is the best course to take, and get a refund off GD that will probably be here's £30 off your next purchase. A stupid question I know but when I have to clear the cache before posting about activated, suspended accounts. That is clearing the cache in the internet browser that I'm using isn't it? Because it took a while for the forum page to load. I thought I had cleared my Firefox cache. It seems there was 3 MB left on it. So my apologies if it caused a problem. As posted my topic on there about my account being suspended. Then went back into Chrome after to try sort GoDaddy out. Thanks for yor help Wolstech.

I've just been told that about Linux. By GoDaddy where I'm moving to, not that I knew this. But it is deffo the database not connecting on there. I may just get a refund and sign up with Stevie. That works out at 8am-4pm my time to sign up. I'll see what GoDaddy say the guy on the phone said I can switch it to Linux for a bit extra. If that's the only solution. I'll grab a refund. Cheers!

Thanks for your help Wolstech. I'm just getting a Not found error now. So that's just something I need to look at in the other host. I did try to sign up to Stevie first, but signup was suspended. Hence I went with Johnny instead. I think time difference is about 8 hours from where I am to where Helio is. I'll see how I go. Cheers.

Hello. I deleted my Johnny account earlier using the delete scripts where it asked for my user name and password and I had the message it could take 48 hours etc. I have decided to host my website elsewhere as Johnny was too unstable. One minute my website would work fine the next it wouldn't load at all. I have uploaded my website to my new host. But I can't access it as when I put my domain name in the search engine. I just get the Heliohost banner appear saying my account has been suspended and the same when I try to access my wordpress dashboard. So can someone please delete my account as I need to get to my website to do maintenance on it asap. Thanks. Robdog75 Johnny robgregg.co.uk

Hello. I was just wondering how I can update phpMyAdmin please? The easier the solution the better as I'm not that clued up with php and servers. I was just thinking of updating it as I have had problems with the internal server error with my website recently. I'm hoping I have solved this by completely deleting a plugin that was causing problems with my website in Chrome. I only deactivated it Friday, then completely deleted it today along with another plugin I had deactivated by deleting them from wordpress and my cpanel files. Since doing this my website seems to be ok! (fingers crossed). I did have one internal server error earlier but my website is loading a lot quicker now. The reason I am asking about updating phpMyAdmin is the version that is currently running is 3.5.5. I can see this message at the bottom of the panel. A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 4.0.3, released on 2013-06-05. So I'm just thinking it maybe a good idea to upgrade to the new version as I have been getting the ocassional database connection error when I log in to wordpress to perform maintenance. I'm assuming this is due to phpMyAdmin being an old version. As I did ask a question about the internal server error earlier this week. And narrowed it down to three possibilties, .htaccess may need renaming, time limit is exceeding or the high server load which I know not a lot can be done about. If anyone can advise me, point me in the right direction as regard updating phpMyAdmin. That would be great. Thanks. Rob

Hey Krydos. Thanks for the reply. I checked the error logs but there was nothing on there. I then checked the server status. It seems as though it's the server load as there is a red circle with the exclaimation mark sign next to it, It's also saying the user disk is at 98% when my disk usage for my website is just over 50%. I did try to upload a screenshot of the srvice status but it failed. So any advice would be great. If I need to tweak anything via cpanel, although like I said bit new to the tweaking a server. Hello. I uploaded my website on Friday to Johnny. After a few problems with plugins and having to redirect links which I managed to sort out. I asked mates to look at my website. I have had comments and experienced this twice myself. The site loading is a bit erratic sometimes it works, other times I get this internal server error message as have others, and it can be a bit slow. I'm assuming that could be traffic on the server. Is there something I need to configure? I'm a bit new when it comes to servers so not entirely sure what I'm suppose to do. I just did the getting started configuration on cpanel the step by step one. I'm wondering if the .htaccess file may need updating as when I uploaded my website on Friday. The htaccess file was dated to 23/5. Any advice would be great. Thanks!! Solved!! Bloody! so called mobile detector plugin. A) Did not work properly. Caused Chrome to go nuts C) As soon as I deleted it my website worked!

Hello. I uploaded my website today. I am using Johnny. It works fine on Firefox and IE, but won't load on Chrome. I was getting a server error at first. Then after holding down shift while refreshing I am just getting a blank white page. Any suggestions please? Thanks. Rob

Hello. I signed up to Heliohost yesterday on Johnny, as my plan was to upload my website when my account was ready. However I have had a bit of a nightmare. As I have created my website using Wordpress. I did a backup of my entire site yesterday just in case of problems. Which did occur to the point my backup got corrupted. So in a nutshell I've got to build my website again. Fortunately it's not that big a website so it should be completed by the end of next week if not sooner. I just wanted to let you know so if when my account is activated because I have seen it is in the queue and there is no activity on my account for a few days it's because I'm rebuilding my website. If you want to delay activating my account that is fine and I will let you know when I am ready to upload my website when it is completed. If you could let me know that would be great. Thanks. All sorted! Since I was having major problems yesterday with my website. I forgot all about my login details had been tweaked but then remembered.
