Uh, I?m paying for a VPS actually, but it was setup by another person who is a longer-term user of your hosting. Apologies that I don?t know more about where the VPS is actually hosted on your infra. Anyway, no worries about the gift, just happy to help. Kind regards, James

  5. Dear Mr. Support: Thanks for writing. Well, I won't do business with PayPal, and I don't want to burden you with a cash donation where you'd lose half the value of the donation, and we don't want to confuse Mr. and Mrs. Ashoat by looping them into Heliohost's finances. But, if you ever get a real USPS address you can retrieve checks from, let me know. Jerry HelioHost Support wrote: > We could get a PO Box for $55 per 3 months, but over the last 20 years we've had exactly 1 person ask for an address to mail a check. Assuming you sent us a $100 check and we canceled the PO Box before it renewed after 3 months that would still be a 55% fee and we would only get $45. If you donated the same $100 via PayPal the fee would be 2.5% and we would get $97.50. Also if we paid $55 for the PO Box and then you didn't actually send us a check we would lose $55 overall. We don't pay any monthly fees for the PayPal account so there is 0% chance of losing money. We will never say no to a donation of any size, but the risk of losing money, and the insanely high fee make it an easy decision. > > > > If we can find some non-profit donation service that will accept paper checks for us and deposit them into our bank for a reasonable fee we will let you know. > > > > You may view the status of your ticket by visiting: > > https://helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=63417 > > Thank you, > HelioHost support > https://heliohost.org/ > https://helionet.org/ >

Last year I offered to mail you people a paper check, and I ferreted out this address: 110 7th Ave S Kinkland, WA-98033-6522 but your support agent said I shouldn't send money there because Ashoat's parents lived there, and they wouldn't know what to do with it.
