The accounts I know of are Ismael78 and stoffel. They have also received the same email about suspicious logins. ________________________________

Username: ismael78, Server: Tommy, Main domain: ismael78.helioho.st Hello, I hereby confirm I do not have created multiple accounts and Ismael78 is the only account I have created on Heliohost. I do sometimes log on from work and because there are some other colleagues having an account on Heliohost I suppose that is the reason of the suspicious activity. Kind regards, Isma?l Op wo 16 apr 2025 om 21:57 schreef HelioHost : > [image: HelioHost | Community powered free hosting for everyone.] > > Hey Ismael78, > > First of all, thank you for your recent donation! Hello, Thank you VERY much for telling me about Docker and that I can route traffic through my vpn. It's working perfectly, and I now have a really cool tool (Docker). I'm a self taught kinda person so I really appreciate drops of knowledge when I can get them, so overall I just wanted to say thank you and express my appreciation for everything. Best regards, Troy ________________________________

Are you still using your hosting account? The last time you logged in was 2025-03-19. In order to keep your website active you must log into your control panel at least once every 30 days. If you wish to continue using your hosting plan you will need to log in by clicking the link below. Next, provide your email and password in the box and click log in to access your dashboard. If you don't log in sometime in the next few days your website will be replaced with a inactive page. Our apologies for requiring you to log in to your account to continue using it. We understand that once you get your website perfected there is little reason to view your control panel anymore, but if we didn't have a way of determing which accounts were abandoned our servers would quickly become even more overloaded than they already are. We have recently released a new server named Morty that doesn't have the requirement to login every 30 days to keep your account active that you may be interested in. You can take a look at your upgrade options after logging in with the button below. Username: matthewseels, Server: Tommy, Main domain: matthewseels.dev Hi, I would like to confirm that I did not create multiple accounts. I did however login to the dashboard from my work computer. At the office some of my coworkers are also HelioHost users. I suspect this triggered the detection. If I can provide you with any more information to prove I did not breach the Terms of Service I would be happy to do so. Kind regards, Matthew ________________________________ From: HelioHost Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2025 9:57:13 pm To: matthew.seels@hotmail.com Subject: Suspicious Login Detected [HelioHost | Community powered free hosting for everyone.] [https://heliohost.org/images/mail/namecheap.png] [https://heliohost.org/images/mail/question.png]Hey Matthewseels, First of all, thank you for your recent donation! However, we have noticed a new login to your account that may indicate a violation our Terms of Service. If you didn't read our Terms during the creation of your account you may do so now by going to https://heliohost.org/terms/ Sometimes this can be triggered erroneously by one of the following: ? Multiple family members creating an account from the same internet connection. ? Logging in from a school internet connection where another student also has an account. ? Logging in from a work internet connection where a coworker also has an account. ? Maintaining an account for someone else. In the last year, 60% of the accounts we were forced to suspend were because people didn't read the first line in our Terms of Service and created more than one account without getting permission in advance. This applies to both our free Johnny accounts and donor Tommy accounts. If you'd like to have more than one account you may do so by moving your accounts to our Morty plan which does not have a limit. Since we're a small non-profit organization funded primarily by donations we don't have a huge budget to purchase an unlimited number of servers to keep up with the demand for accounts. We turn away hundreds of people every day who would love to have an account, but we can't host their website because our servers are so full. We don't think it's fair for some people to have more than one account, while at the same time, so many other people aren't able to have an account at all. If you did create more than one account, just let us know which one you'd like to keep, or explain what the situation is. HelioHost replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
2 additional things I should mention: 1. I tried to use the ticketing system but it would only allow me to login with my previous account david@hinkley.ca 2. I wanted the VPS to be an upgrade and replace the former server at davidhinkley.helioho.st ??????I couldn't do it by Switch to a different hosting plan though - it wouldn't allow it ??????I thought I finally succeeded but then it used the email from my paypal - which is this one ??????I normally only use this email for paypal My real preference is to have the VPS using david@hinkley.ca like I intended. I probably should have contacted someone as soon as things were going wrong in the hosting plan upgrade process. ________________________________ -
VPS number: 130, VPS ID: 697 Can you please wipe the VPS and reinstall Ubuntu 24. Unless it's a problem, can you then install Fastpanel so I have so I have an option in some circumstances. I tried Hestia and it is not suitable and others used too many resources for the system. If you have reason from experience to believe another panel is better suited please just make the call yourself. I will mostly just be using ssh. Thank you, David IP address 64.62.199.198 Port 22 Username davidssh

Hello, I?m currently using my VPS for a project that requires accessing certain external services, but I'm encountering some issues reaching them from the VPS?s current IP address. I?m wondering if it's possible to selectively route outbound traffic through a VPN while maintaining uninterrupted SSH access to the server. I'm mainly looking to be pointed in the right direction if this type of setup is supported or allowed on your platform. Thank you for your time and assistance! Troy ________________________________

[HH#971957] Question about libraries needed for my discord bot
HelioHost replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
Ah, thank you for that list-- very helpful. Unfortunately, when I restart the bot, it still gives the same error message: [2025-04-15 20:25:28] Starting ProgressClock.py. Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/mortaine.helioho.st/ProgressClock.py", line 7, in import aiosqlite ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'aiosqlite' How would I make sure the installed module is imported correctly in my script? Username: mortaine, Server: Tommy, Main domain: mortaine.helioho.st Greetings! I signed up for a domain on Tommy today, in order to host a limited-use discord bot. I'm having a little trouble because the bot is installed and running, and I've added it to my discord server, but it's not actually working. I think this might be because of some required components. The developer for the bot says that these are needed on the server in order for the bot to work: discord.py aiosqlite Pillow I know discord.py is installed. However, I am not sure about aiosqlite or Pillow. Can you provide any guidance on getting these to work on my server? Thank you so much for all that you do! -- -- Stephanie Bryant http://www.linkedin.com/in/mortaine stephanie@mortaine.com
