  1. Hi, Yes, you are right. The .exe file was compiled on windows os. The source code is written on GoLang. So yes, I have access to source code. Can you suggest Which requirements should have an executable cgi binary file on heliohost hosting? Such file should be able to run from http. Thank you for answering. It is helpful. Volodymyr. 04.12.2017 23:26, Heliohost Support ?????: > Generally extensions mean basically nothing on Linux. On Windows extensions mean everything. Since you're using .exe I'm going to guess that it's a windows executable? Am I right? In order to run a windows executable on Linux you're going to need wine or some other type of Windows emulator. If you have the source code for the executable it may be possible to compile it for Linux though. > > You may view the status of your ticket by visiting: > > https://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=30772 > > Thank you, > Heliohost support > https://www.heliohost.org/ > https://www.helionet.org/ > >

  5. Username: vnabokit, Server: Johnny, Main domain: vnabokit.heliohost.org Hi, I use free hosting from heliohost.org. Your service is pretty nice. I appreciate you give ability to try good service first before ask about money. My question: Is it possible to run .exe files? What I did. 1. Opened CPanel/Advanced/Apache Handlers and added a new handler: "cgi-script" under *Handler* and ".exe" under *Extension.* 2. Copied simple helloworld exe file to ./public_html/cgi-bin/hello.exe 3. Waited about 15 minutes. 4. Tried to run it by "https://vnabokit.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/hello.exe". Actual Result: 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered. If the setting is correct and you confirm it, I will try to find an error in the helloworld code. It is my first application on GoLang language. Thank you! Volodymyr login: vnabokit

  10. Working, thanks. With my previous host, I had HTTPS working (went automatically to https) thanks to Cloudfare. Any settings I can change in HelioHost or Cloudfare? Where should I donate? 14. [redacted] is working. So, I changed the CNAME in Cloudfare DNS to point to sukuruac.heliohost.com, but I get the message that the "account is queued" I tried to "Addon Domains" for [redacted] and I get the message: (XID c5ua9q) Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers * _or_ have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.* Is this possible, any fees to do this? On 12/3/2017 1:51 PM, Heliohost Support wrote: > Well, you won't be able to use cloudflare on the domain [redacted] because you can't change the nameservers on it. If you're talking about some other domain like pseudonym.com it isn't currently using cloudflare either. I suspect that pseudonym.com isn't the domain you're actually talking about though which makes it really difficult to figure out what you're talking about.1. Change your main domain to pseudonym.com or whatever your domain actually is.2. Set your nameservers to whatever cloudflare says to.3. Set your cname to 64.62.211.131 probably.4. If none of that works you'll need to contact clouflare for support because we don't have access to their system and we can't see or change any of their settings. > > You may view the status of your ticket by visiting: > > https://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic0726 > > Thank you, > Heliohost support > https://www.heliohost.org/ > https://www.helionet.org/ >

  17. Last time I did this, it left me days without my Gmail for Domains (MX records)... Heliomine

https://www.heliohost.org/heliomine/ We need people to help test our new program called HelioMine. It is software that we wrote that runs on Windows and mines cryptocurrency for HelioHost. If your PC is on anyways it's just sitting there using electricity, and all of its processing power is going to waste. Our program runs sort of like a screensaver in the background using the cpu when you aren't. That way we can harness all of this wasted power to generate a few cents here and a few cents there. It's not much, but if enough people run this program for us we could fully fund HelioHost with it. Just install the program, and use your computer as you normally would. The software tracks statistics that are linked to your hosting account by typing in your username during the install. We are going to be giving out rewards such as inactivity immunity, and even increased storage space soon. Let us know if you have any questions!
  20. I'll check into it shortly - about an hour - thank you so much for all the help and sorry if I messed things up. -----Original Message-----
  21. Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/A I have MX (email settings) with my current Registrar. If I change my DNS settings (at my registrar) to HelioHost will this cause me to stop receiving Gmail for Domains emails? If so, what's the correct procedure to maintain/not interrupt my current MX settings?
  22. Removed Keys etc., still got the unkown vhost error. Seems the problem runs deeper. Trying to remove the add-on domain results in this: Red error message box says: "handcrafted.tk" is not a parked domain. I just want to start all over and can't. -----Original Message-----
  23. Ok thank you. I'll try yours first - just in case could you send me the Letencrypt instructions (how to use on your side - my tech friend knows of them so just to integrate with you if it comes to that). But the main issue - can't use your cert. either as the error message appears in cpanel no matter what we try to do. Should I just remove and add the add-on domain back? -----Original Message-----

  25. I have read and have been those kinds of certifcates are not trusted in browsers. The integration fully with cloudflare seemed like it was better that way. I also understand that is is a 15 year full certificate, trusted in all browsers. Either way, attempting to use the SSL/TLS icon results in the error no matter what. The cloudflare certif. is removed and the error isn't gone when clicking "install" for the self-signed certif. I was going to try it with browsers to see. Here is the error that just happened (I think exact same as before): Template::Exception: [TYPE]=[undef] [iNFO]=[sSL::installed_hosts() failed: Unrecognized vhost: "handcrafted.tk" at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Config/WebVhosts.pm line 310. ] [TEXT]=[] at cpanel.pl line 1043. cpanel::cpanel::cptt_exectag("/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/ ssl/install.htm"..., 1) called at cpanel.pl line 4637 cpanel::cpanel::run_standard_mode() called at cpanel.pl line 857 cpanel::cpanel::script("cpanel::cpanel", "./frontend/paper_lantern/ssl/install.html.tt") called at cpanel.pl line 272 Thanks. -----Original Message-----
