The file upload servlet accepts an image from a form (via post) and stores it on the server. I have a problem with storing this image on the server. Is there a possibility that I can store the image directly in my home directory, e.g. /home/coco4/public_html? I have tried to store it there but failed, it was not created probably due to the fact that I cannot access my home folder or I have no rights. If I store it in our webapps folder, I'll probably lose all my uploaded data when I re-deploy the WAR file. So where can I store the file such that I can access it in JSP. Thanks in advance! Username: jthorne, Server: Johnny, Main domain: jthorne.heliohost.org Sorry to be that guy, but I've tried everything, and I'm still getting an error 500 attempting to run a Python script of any kind on a Johnny-hosted site. Permissions on the file (and cgi-bin folder) are 755 I've tried adding a cgi-script .py handler to Apache using the Apache Handlers form I can't add an .htaccess file using the file manager I've tried navigating to the script in a browser, and POSTing to it from javascript. 500, 500, 500. I've tried a .py file with plain text in it, as well as a properly-formatted script with the shebang, import cgi, content-type header, etc., but I get the same error no matter what, implying that it's not even attempting to execute. What am I missing? (Honestly, I'd rather do ajax using JSON POST data, but at this point, I'm just testing a hello world to see if can get the server to do anything, and cgi is often the quickest and easiest way to test that.)

But i cannot login from sqldeveloper nor toad. I have a saved connection, that did work several times before, I didn't change anything. The error message is: "The network adapter could not establish the connection". No firewall changes(sure since its my private computer). What could be the problem? my user name is : hujpltsu the name of the DB is: hujpltsu_admin the mail address i registered with is this i am writing from. Thanks in advance, Bence

The long awaited, much anticipated upgrade to the java deployment system on Tommy has been released. This update should vastly improve the deployment speeds. Prior to this update java deployments could take up to 24 hours. We estimate that if you change the name of your .war file or if it's a new deployment it could take up to 60 minutes, and if you use the same filename as your previous deployment it could go live in just a couple minutes. Let us know if you have any issues with the new version.
