  1. I kid you not, my Firefox is currently using about 150mb of my virtual memory :/ It is a bit of a memory addict, I'm sure they'll find away around patching it someday soon.
  2. I'd start with Basic... the thing you need to keep in mind is what's important in programming is being able to create algorithms... If you can create a proper algorithm, you can code it in whatever you want, just need to learn the syntax and all. To get "coding" into your mind... as in syntaxes, functions, loops, conditionals, operations and whatever else, Basic is a good place to start. It's just to get the idea of algorithms into your head. Then, you can move on to whatever language you see fit. Just make sure to get a proper book with excersices and stuff, else, you'll just type random stuff into your code and never get anywhere. Get a book, it's definitely worth it
  3. It's because it's actually a full console... The PS3 is a powerhouse, no doubt about it. It's a pretty complete package when you consider what it has compared to the other systems PS3 v Wii: The wii, as a console, is much less powerful... It doesn't allow any media related operations (Except the lousy photo and video viewer, and the bad-as-can-be opera browser). Many things were left out just to produce a cheap console, so screw entertainment value, it's cheap and it looks like the people in the ads have fun swinging the wiimote around >_> PS3 v Xbox: The Xbox hardware is lower to the PS3's... while competitive, it's still lower. I mean... the PS3 is superb piece of hardware, easily pimp-slapping the other consoles. The problem isn't what it's capable of achieving, but what it currently is. Not only are the game title delayed for... forever, due to it being too-high end and nobody actually using it to full performace... there's no point in buying one when most of the game selection is out for Xbox. You don't really need all the extra processing power when the Xbox plays the games just fine.
  4. AdBlock and the list updater are single handedly THE BEST add-ons out there. There's nothing like surfing the internet without seeing all the ads.

    4 sons

Lulz That was a pretty good one XD I've seen many different variations, including women talking about their husbands
  6. I'm a sort-of fan for Anime... here's what I've seen: Death Note: Epic. It's very character oriented but it's simply amazing realization. Just don't expect DBZ style battles. Eureka7: It's OK... It's nice to watch, has battles and a message too. It's kinda corny in the end, but overall worth watching. Bleach: Action oriented, Kinda like DBZ but a bit less gory. Naruto: Entertaining too... very action oriented and kinda hollow. Elfen Lied: Hardly an anime, it's art. People seem to criticize the nudity and gore in it, but just watch the first 3 episodes before judging it. It's an amazing psychological thriller and offers a creepy look at humanity. .hack: It starts off incredibly slow... so bear with it. Overall it's interesting and quite refreshing, I recommend .hack/sign above all. Rurouni Kenshin: It's OK. Mostly action oriented and offers interesting stories and all. Very light to watch, but entertaining nonetheless. I think that's all I've seen
  7. Yeah... it wasn't as epic as the 1st or 2nd. Normally for triologies, it goes like this: 1st : Epic 2nd: Horrid 3rd: Good Matrix was kinda like that Shrek was more like: 1st: Epic 2nd: Okay 3rd: Ew :/ ===Possible spoiler=== The ending was completely unsatisfying, they spend the whole movie building up for this epic battle and stuff... ends up with the conflict just going away with a couple "moving words"... I mean... come on :/
  8. Transformers looks like... amazing CGI and all, but overall, a sucky plot. Kinda like stealth, except the graphics are much more pimping. It's action packed and all... but not THAT great IMHO Still, worth seeing I guess
  9. Uhm... what? And here I thought it had something to do with improved living conditions and increased lifespan :/ I would agree with the government being corrupt though
  10. Pluto (IPA: /ˈplu.toʊ/), also designated 134340 Pluto, is the second-largest known dwarf planet in the Solar System and the tenth-largest body observed directly orbiting the Sun. Originally considered a planet, Pluto has since been recognised as the largest member of a distinct region called the Kuiper belt. Edit: Source is Wikipedia. It stopped being a planet about last year

    Item Lost

Well, racking up the 250 back shouldn't be a problem, I get it, my mistake :S ... I was just eager to get the webhosting without ads
  12. I think you mean iPAQ. and... it's not new :/ It's been around since 2000 or so. It's just a brand of pocket pc which has been around for... ages
  13. Computers will be the downfall of humanity While the Internet is pretty much the pinnacle of globalizationg, it host many, many dark places... like 4chan. I quote "The Computer allows you to make the biggest mistakes in a short time, followed by handguns and tequila".

    Item Lost

Yeah, I guess it was my own fault for not reading... erm... where is it I'm supposed to find the 7 Day rule? The only warning I got was with the item itself; since it showed up in my inventory I guessed that I should wait 7 days for my website to be activated, rather than a "If you use it before the 7 day period is up it'll disappear". Anyways, I'm not really interested in a refund, I'm sure I'll be able to post my way up for a while. Got the Ad version too in the meanwhile, at any rate. Just thought this might need some attention.
  15. So I bought the hosting package... and at some point I missed the warning that there is a 7 day minimum required to purchase the item... so I went to look in my inventory and... goners :/ I'm guessing it would be nice to implement that the shop stops you from buying it before charging your Helions. I just missed the 7 day minimum part... guess I was a bit too eager ... I'm... not sure if I'm asking for a refund or anything, I'm just guessing it's a bit buggy.
  16. Yeah, open office is THE alternative to M$ It's even more compatible... while that may sound strange And I can carry it around in my U3 thumbdrive
  17. Yeah, was kinda wondering how'd they make it work with the controller + nunchuck. I just have to say that the button configuration for them, when not being used for their real purpose (twirled around) is... bad :/ Your right hand can only push Z, A and the down arrow with ease, 1 and 2 and the rest of the arrows are inaccessible o.o
  18. I'm guessing it should. Most AVs have the capability to run in safe mode for this exact same reason
  19. Paradoxes are more fun than riddles But here's one for ya: A man walks into a pub and sits down at the bar, and simply orders a water. The bartender looks at the man, and then, quickly pulls out a shotgun and points it at the man. The man says "Thank you," and leaves. Why did they behave this way? Hah
  20. It looks like a really sweet game, just don't know how it would fly with the wiimote :/
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOk5j-iGuTM Looks like a medieval hitman to me. Brand new my butt
  22. I just say send them back (All Illegal immigrants), but improve the immigration process so it is easier to enter the US. Face it, people in Mexico have it tough (And not tough like "Life in the USA is tough to" but tough like "I hope I can get enough to keep my family from starving" tough.). These are human beings who deserve an opportunity to enter the USA in hopes of the "American Dream". They are generally low skilled workers who'll do anything to stay from starving, so they aren't really "taking your jobs" :/
  23. I don't enjoy complete strangers making out in public. Period. I'd only enjoy it if both were hot females But that's probably just me
  24. I'm from El Salvador... some God forsaken central-american country XD
  25. It's not THAT epic :/ And it leaves a message at the end... what kind of simpsons episode does that? XD
