Yes, there is such thing, I have it on my PC user mag DVD that transforms your computer into "Vista" though it can't easily be removed because of a bug. So it makes your thing look like vista, but its still different. You don't even know which format will win the format war :/ You can't just say blu ray > hd dvd. The PS3 may be a kick-[bleeped!] console, but it lacks a game repertoire. Kinda like the original xbox compared to the rest of the consoles. Sure, it had halo, but the rest of the games could be found in the other consoles already.

Yeah, the Wii is gimmicky, and people seem to like gimmicky. The PS3 was just badly designed. What's the point of making a pimped out console if you won't use all that power? Sony could have easily done with half the hardware specs and half the price, and would have probably sold alot better.

I agree... Final Fantasy has just been washed down and done over, and over, and over. Final Fantasy 11 was just "you know... we really need to come up with a new franchise".

Obviously the books are better than the movies... but thats not the point. They spend the whole movie preparing this wizard army and in the end you get a puny 5 minute battle sequence Like all the build-up was made and then the end was just rushed :/

I don't think the idea will fly, the public is strongly against it, it's just wrong. It's the equivalent of paying the Government to intentionally break down a road leading to a Target and widen the one to the Walmart. It's just wrong. Similar to what's been going on with the internet radio royalty fees, thousands of stations have joined to fight it. The internet is the last open space left... it's the only true "free society".
