Ash Fohx

I'm a huge rock fan~! Even when I was really little, I'd stay up later than I should have just to watch Head Banger's Ball (back when it was still good). I'm not into many current bands and most of my music library is music from the 90s but there are some more current bands and artists in it. Some of the bands and artists I listen to the most are The Pillows, Alice in Chains, Bush, Def Leppard, Godsmack, Disturbed, Guns 'n Roses, and so forth. It'd take too long to name them all. ^^;

I'll show you one of my more recent drawings. This started out as a simple sketch but I decided to spend a couple hours on it and shaded the hair and a little of the face. The hairline bothers me but other than that I think I did okay. Click the thumbnail for the full-sized image. ^^

Green. For one thing, my eyes used to be green and I loved it so much. I wish they would turn back but that's probably asking for too much. I envy people with green eyes. Green just seems so energetic and fresh to me. Other than that, I can't think of any specific reasons why I like it. Other colors I like are blue, red, and black. I like blue for reasons similar to why I like green but I only like red and black because they look cool (especially together). ^^

I remember watching the original Space Ghost waaaay back when I was little. I also loved Dexter's Lab, Speed Racer, Sailor Moon, and George of the Jungle. XD Oh man, so many memories are connected to those shows. ;w;

Family Guy and Avatar: The Last Airbender are the my top faves right now~ There may be more but I can't think of them at the moment. Avatar is the only cartoon I'm dedicated to though (I'm so looking forward to the new season x3)

Wow. Another one. o_O Well, my favorite anime are as follows: Lovely ComplexHistory's Strongest Disciple KenichiDual! Parallel Trouble AdventureKenran Butou SaiPetopeto-sanKarinLast Order: Final Fantasy VIIZero no Tsukaimaand many more. Those all come highly recommended, by the way, especially the first five. ;3 As for Death Note, I suppose it would be a good anime. I haven't watched it because I hated the manga (I only read it to see if the main character died in the end because I hate him so much).

Ulysses. I read the first page but couldn't continue. The writing style was so horrible that even if there was a good story behind it, I couldn't continue. I only started reading it because of a challenge issued by my English teacher during my Senior year of high school. She said that if anyone in her class could read that book and pass the test on it, she would give that person an 'A' for the year. This is because, even with her incredible love for books, she absolutely hates that book. It's the only one she's never been able to finish and I understand why. Oh, and only one person during her long career has ever read the book and passed the test and she really did give that person an 'A' for the year. XD

I'm really into manga, but not so much anime. I'll watch it but I generally prefer the manga adaptations. Right now I'm reading Detective Conan and Lovely Complex. My favorite manga is probably Tokyo Crazy Paradise~ I really loved that one. x3 As for anime, I'm also watching Lovely Complex (I actually prefer the anime with this series), Devil May Cry, and History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. I recommend all three. I've not seen much of DMC yet but it's much better than I expected! I'm also reading Naruto and Bleach and watching Naruto but I'm not very into either right now.

Hello~! My name's Ramsey but I prefer to go by Ash Fohx, Ash, or Fohx while online. I'm male, 19, and an aspiring artist and my preferred style of art is comic art. I read a lot of comics and watch cartoons still (not kiddy shows though), especially manga and anime (for anyone who doesn't know). I'm very fond of parentheses (as you may have noticed) and frequently use them in my posts. My other interests are music and literature. I'm neither a musician nor a writer but I do try occasionally. I'm learning to play the keyboard and I write stories and dialogue for comics (I'm still no good at descriptive paragraphs though). I've also been playing video games for literally as long as I can remember. I was told I started when I was three and cleared my first game at the age of four. Since then I've taken a liking to RPGs, particularly the Final Fantasy series (at least up to 9, excluding 8). My favorite genres of movies, comics, books, and shows are fantasy/adventure, comedy, and the occasional romantic comedy. I can also sit through a good thriller but I've been a little worn out on those lately. With music, I prefer rock, metal, alternative, industrial, and any mix of those mentioned. That doesn't mean I won't listen to anything else though. My music library includes some chamber music, pop, and other types as well. I'll wrap it up there. I think I've rambled on a little too long. ^^; Feel free to ask anything you want about me~ I enjoy making friends, even if it is on the 'net.
