  1. Neither can I: I'm getting the same message.
  2. Hm weird... I can't get [Ctrl]+[shift] to do that at my computer... It rather switches my keyboard between the US 101 keyboard lay-out and the Dutch keyboard lay-out.
  3. The only way a real comparison between both operating systems can be made is when you compare them [without prejudice] when there are no 'super duper', flashy, shiny skins installed - just the standard skin. Windows would win for sure then, especially Vista. Both OS's have customizable skins (Windows having to use WindowBlinds), so that won't really help either in a comparison. Linux is more customizable than Windows though, so I guess that eventually it'd make Linux the winner in that...
  4. The iPhone is being sold here in Europe yet, so I can't say much about it, but from what I have heard it's a cool phone with many functions. I know Apple has quite a good reputation as [people say] their products are reliable. I don't know though. Carrier locking it to one provider seems weird to me: I don't think as it is now the iPhone can be sold in Europe, with all the European Union departments complaining about that not being fair. I wouldn't buy it. For me it's way too expensive, especially considering the fact that I hate phones. And there are practically no shops here which sell Apple products.
  5. I don't think there is any movie I could watch over and over again without getting bored, but if I should pick one which comes closest to it, it'd be Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It's a British comedy, and since it's a comedy it isn't as entertaining if you watch it for the second time as you know all the jokes (and of course there are also people who never find British comedy funny). I think it's an absolutely brilliant movie, but I can't really say why... I have the screenplay of the movie and... There was a time I knew many lines of the movie... But... Those were the times I actually had the time to read screenplays over and over again, watching the same movie over and over again... If you like British humour and you haven't watched this one yet (although that would be highly unlikely), you really should. And if you don't like it... I guess you wouldn't like this one either.
  6. I'm listening to Requiem Mass in D minor from Mozart at the moment. Lacrimosa to be exactly.
  7. Hm, I have had the same problem of not being able to access the forum. I wasn't able to access it for an entire day though. By the way, why doesn't your mom want that then? Because... If the difference in cost is so big, then it'd be logical to go for cable...
  8. I don't know much about Fantastico, as I always do these things myself, but I think it is very likely phpBB 3 will be included in the future if phpBB 2 is included now. The current version of phpBB 3 is for testing purposes only. This means that at the moment, only few people use it, which is why there aren't many templates for it yet. When the first stable version of phpBB 3 will be released I'm sure there will be many templates and mods for it.
  9. Yeah, it's kind of difficult to make something of this... My guess however is that he's trying to say something about Final Fantasy having too many sequels, given the fact that it's posted in the 'Video Games' section.
  10. I like the current smilies on HelioNet. I also think more could be added, but only if they serve a real purpose: in my opinion smilies wearing weird headgears or jumping in weird ways have no value. What I noticed when I was writing my introduction post, was that there isn't a real 'embarasse' smiley: .
  11. Hellu people, I'm Asgard. I still remember the first time I visited this forum (don't know how I got here anymore though). HelioNet latest news was 'HelioHost is Shutting Down', so I clicked away the site and didn't bother coming back (I'm pretty sure it was way past April 1st when I saw that). Anyway, enough about my first 'encounter' with HelioHost. Since this is my first post here, I'll start by introducing myself. I'm 17 years old and I live in The Netherlands. Education: gymnasium. Now before you ask, I'll tell you that it has absolutely nothing to do with jumping around, running a few laps or shaking your bottom. It's some sort of high school with additional subjects like Latin and Ancient-Greek. My dictionary suggests 'grammar school' as a translation for it, but I haven't seen anyone so far who knew what a 'grammar school' is. But there will be no school for a few weeks, as my holidays just started today :grabs-a-flag-and-cheers:, so I'll be spending my free time on: making websites (I'm working on my twenty-seventh one now, but I don't seem to be able to actually finish them)writing silly screenplays for even sillier movies (I guess it's a good thing that I can't make them)studying for school (one comment: )adding and editing articles on both Dutch and English Wikipedia's.post a bit on some forums (got to fill my holidays with something...)Now I finished writing all this, I suddenly realise only few people actually read introductions and most people just reply with 'Welcome here <name>'. Ah well, if you did waste your time reading this and have some questions, feel free to ask them.
