What operating system are you running?
-
Deno is another Node.js engine though not sure what it like on resources. A bunch of users have already had their site suspended some multiple times running literaly "Hello World" or nothing at all. Just 1 example: 'm not trying to discourage you, but want to give you a heads up of what to expect if you proceed.

Here is the direct links to do that: Tommy: https://tommy2.heliohost.org:8443/modules/sslit/index.php/index/proxy Johnny: https://johnny.heliohost.org:8443/modules/sslit/index.php/index/proxy Make sure to keep the "wildcard subdomains" option unticked or it will not work.
-
@mingrkliYour new domain seems to be working as well as the /Hello world folder. Do you have any other questions or can we mark this as solved?
-
I didn't know that, since I only started few months ago, thanks for the history lesson.
-
Sorry trying to figure out what you are referring to. After refreshing the page several times I could only find references to the free domain.
-
Heliohost is a non-profit corporation that doesn't charge for hosting or require you to post to obtain or continue running a hosting account. Unless you are referring to this which is completely optional.
-
Just a quick preflight check, are you using Node.js or Wordpress?
-
I don’t believe this is possible. However, you could for example imitate the behavior using cron jobs.

Wasn't it still a problem when you were running CPanel though?
-
Good idea! I saw on the website that Plesk has an unlimited domains plan. Is there a reason why you are limiting them?
-
The main site has an italic 2 after the 10 domains text. Scrolling to the very bottom states that it is upgradable. However the wiki states it’s 10 max which is what Krydos stated to me. I’m guessing that this is an artifact of the CPanel days. Might I suggest offering the upgrade for a small donation?
-
To add to what Wolstech said, the 1GB limit is for the entire account. So if you have 2 domains for example the limit is for the contents of both domains(files, email, database) and any administration related files(logs, plesk configs etc.). If you ever exceed the limit, the account will be suspended and an admin will have to intervene to unlock the account. If you want to increase the storage quota it's a $5 donation per 1 GB up to 6 GB max($25 donation).

Are site is beeing in sleep mode when inactive for few hours ?
Ookma-Kyi replied to dhananjaym182's topic in Questions
To my knowledge Heliohost does not put inactive sites to sleep until it gets traffic again. -
Yes via Plesk, https://tommy2.heliohost.org:8443/cp/domains/2539/protected-directories Click the add directory button and follow the instructions. After it’s done you will need to provide a valid username and password to access the directory.

If you need more space, it's $5 donation per 1 gigabyte up to 6 GB total. Welcome to the Tommy server! We are thrilled to have you here.

Could you offer you some feedback on the ad-free package? How about offering multi-year discount? $1 - 6 months $2 - 1 year $5 - 3 years $15 - Lifetime of forum account @Krydos @wolstech Let me know your thoughts.

Here is the direct links to it: https://johnny.heliohost.org:8443/smb/my-profile/ https://tommy2.heliohost.org:8443/smb/my-profile/ Use the one that the account is on.

Could you please fix the ads on the mobile version of the forum, it's covering almost the entire page.
-
It is possible to use other SDK versions by creating a self-contained package. So like W says only drawback is having no control panel.
-
You need to wait for an admin to respond since since only W has the ability to create accounts on the Lily server. The Lily server is a Windows Server though not sure which version and edition.

The cheapest VPS plan is $4 for Memory: 2 GB CPUs: 2 Storage: 50 GB How does this compare to the memory and cpu you get with shared hosting?

Hello, There is a nail place nearby that will be opening soon and I was thinking of recommending they host their site here. I as a web developer am also open to creating their website. Since you only allow 1 account per person this may trip that. It would 100% be the businesses account even though I would be doing it from where I normally modify mine. I would not be associated with the business in question as this would most likely be volunteer work. Is there something that I would need to get from the business in order to get an exception for my IP address?
