A JavaScript/HTML submit button that links to the script works for me.

Ah, okay, thank you! So you follow EST in winter? To get this correct at the time of posting this you are 10:14 and UTC -4?
-
Hello, What are the time zones of Admins and the time zone of Tommy? Im curious but cant find an answer. Thanks, Bailey

Clear your cache, works fine for me
-
Thank you, closed topic as everything wiki related should now be posted there!
-
Yeah thanks, When would we get the hidden board as it would be useful? And who would be able to see the board, Admins and us?
-
Okay thankyou, I would appreciate that but what about announcements to other users about downtime when updating the wiki etc?
-
@miwilc, I think we would have a separate form forum category to do with the wiki with "Wiki Announcements" (Admins only, including us), "Wiki other" (where users post) and "Request Wiki Access" within it, this might be the best solution for this. Lets see what @Krydos says!

While I'm on my way back, is it possible to sort out who will keep the wiki up-to-date over at https://wiki.helionet.org or will one of the admins do it? I'm happy too, but I will need access to it as once the development is finished, I don't want it on my account as it takes up 673.52 MB (67.3%) of my account that I won't be able to ever use
-
I'm sure I enabled it anyway, like I said I'll have a look when I'm back. You can directly see https://wiki-dev.bailey.cf/resources/assets/wiki_title.png So you should be able to add it.
-
I know that I requested /$1 but directly modifying .htaccess is always a bad idea, I know this for a fact. And I still believe you can change the title path in the MW settings. If that's impossible we can move /$1 to /wiki/$1 to maintain backwards compatibility.I can't explain this better than that. Also to clarify Krydos said we need /$1 to avoid search engine/links breaking, my solution clears all of that, if you can't modify the title in settings. About the external images: yeah, it will be to be embedded. As I said, I'm not changing the URL but can you explain why the .htaccess breaks things because I've learnt it and its never broken anything for me!
-
I think it's missing HTML tag plugin but I can't add that yet as I'm out...
-
Miwilc, it doesn't break things if you use it properly... and no, it's not being moved to /wiki/$1 because Krydos requests it how it is. Read up a few posts to see what he said about it. Anyway, you requested it to be like this anyway... I'll have a look in about an hour, currently out and about. EDIT ONE: I just had a think about it and I may have to enable HTML tags or add that plugin... It may not work when we go back, as there imbedded it should work fine. I'll have a look anyway, and it is a priority as we can't move it back wishing that it will be fixed!

@Miwilc, I have to use .htaccess? What else would I use? And as requested HTTPS redirect is now standard throughout the website!
-
No it should be /wiki/$1 because /$1 can cause glitches and security issues... Ill look into it.
-
I'll see what Krydos says about the licence but I did say that this is the "minimal version" so thank you for pointing these things out, but it will take time. Also, you can edit on the test wiki because it goes to the same database that will be exported because the database went through an update so it was compatible with the current version of MediaWiki. Edit One: Force HTTPS will be enforced when the SSL certificate has been installed. Edit Two: This has already been done? Edit Three: Logo and favicon have been added.

Hello all, Over at http://wiki-dev.bailey.cf is the standard, minimal version, it is available to edit wiki articles like you normally would, you can also create accounts and do everything you could before however, Im currently working on a new custom theme so there will be changes. If it breaks since now or is broken please post here with the date, time and the error you are receiving! This will help me with fixing it and making sure everything is correct. Admins: Could you please post on the old wiki that new edits should be made over at http://wiki-dev.bailey.cf and pin this in "Request wiki access" this would be much appreciated. Krydos, you are still able to edit accounts and promote etc. Ive made sure you still have this ability. Thanks, Bailey

Your logs are basically saying that your WP is broken, try reinstalling it through cPanel Softaculous as this allows you to select the database you want to use as well because Im also seeing a database connection error! I would delete everything, then make sure it works by visiting your admin panel, probably, /wp-admin/, then add all of your plugins one by one to see if a plugin you are using is broken or causing your website to break...

This happens a lot on Johnny, its due to it being a long task and the server having high load. One of the admins will escalate it and Krydos will add it to your account manually...
-
And why dont you try Tommy? Its like a professional grade Johnny server in comparison!
-
If your on Johnny maybe about 30mins to 1 hour, if your on Tommy probably about 5mins. But remember to clear your cache!!!
-
@Krydos, may I please have more storage on my account because the wiki takes up a lot of space and I only have 6.28MB of SQL storage when the wiki database file is 274MB. Thanks, Bailey

Maybe, Ill have a look...

No I have to work on HelioNet as it makes configuration easier and it wont take 3 hours to upload all the time, it 13,400 files that will need to be transferred quite a bit, its just easier to edit them in cPanel. Ill download it when I create a custom theme but thats it, Im getting it all setup first.
