Problem: After pointing the domain example.com to Johnny (HelioHost), the site was redirecting to helionet.org instead of loading the Laravel application. At first this looked like a DNS or .htaccess misconfiguration. However, the real cause was inside Laravel’s environment file (.env): APP_URL=https://johnny.heliohost.org/ ASSET_URL=https://example.helioho.st/public Because APP_URL was set to the server’s default domain (johnny.heliohost.org), Laravel generated all links and redirects to that domain. This made the site appear as if it was stuck on helionet.org. Solution: Update the .env file so Laravel knows the correct production domain: APP_URL=https://example.com ASSET_URL=https://example.com Then clear Laravel’s cached configuration: php artisan config:clear php artisan cache:clear Now all redirects, assets, and generated URLs point to example.com correctly. Explanation: - DNS records were already correct, pointing example.com to Johnny’s IP. - Apache/.htaccess was fine, routing requests into Laravel’s public folder. - The problem was application-level misrouting: Laravel used APP_URL to decide what domain to generate links for. - Since APP_URL was set to johnny.heliohost.org, every redirect and asset URL pointed to the wrong domain. By fixing APP_URL and ASSET_URL, Laravel now generates URLs for the right domain (example.com), resolving the misrouting.

No it should not affect the ability to log into Plesk. If you cannot sign in through https://heliohost.org/login/ , my next suggestion would be to try resetting the password.

Load is coming from systemd, which is caused by either excessive cron job runs or FTP connections being used heavily or left open for long periods. Another user who had excess load from systemd solved it by reducing the frequency of their cron jobs.

Thanks, I can see it is using quite a bit of CPU time, probably going to be under 10,000 in 24 hours, but may be close. I can’t find any graphs which show what is using all of the CPU time, is there somewhere I should look or is the a guide to reducing CPU load? The alternative is cut some things from my webpages, but that will be trial and error. Thanks

Fixed. So this is a weird one. Composer broke because the composer.json that was loaded in Plesk was deleted (which is why the app folder was set to something in .trash). My guess is git moved the old versions to the trash when it updated them, breaking Composer. I had to manually run a command as root to re-register httpdocs as the app folder for your composer, then switch it back for you in the UI. The old broken folders are still going to show as options as there is actually no way to remove them from the system short of manually editing composer's database. It now shows 2 up to date dependencies and 1 not installed. If this is being caused by git deleting the composer.json, the unorthodox solution of committing the vendor folder to the git may very well be the best solution...

I am updating a client's website (1932washhouse.com). After I pushed the recent commit to github, it automatically passed the file updates to heliohost using a webhook. I have a composer.json file sitting in the httpdocs/ but I don't know how to do composer install to update the dependencies and install the new one I added? I navigated to the PHP Composer option in the dashboard but it shows me this error notification: I tried clicking the change folder but it didn't show the option inside httpdocs/, I also tried manually typing the content of composer.json file from httpdocs/ into that composer.json but it won't do.

I haven’t made any changes, but I did have an internet outage, so it’s possible my weather station uploaded bulk data. Is it possible to get the suspension lifted so I can see what it is doing n real time please?
