  2. Proxies are not permitted on Plesk plans. Users wishing to host a proxy are encouraged to purchase a VPS.
  3. Due to federal regulations, HelioHost is unable to provide services to users in the country of Iran. We are not allowed to do business with any person residing in or having an affiliation with Iran. This isn't us unfortunately, it's our government. We are located in the USA, which has made it illegal to do business with Iran. As a result, it is illegal for us to serve you. If our government could get along with yours, we would love to serve you, but until our laws change, that cannot happen for legal reasons. All US-based web hosts have the same restriction too, so it's not just us. You'll need to find a non-US-based web host.

  5. my account has been suspended please unsuspen it
  6. my username is yriver , now my account has been suspended , i have made a web through this host , it is only work for me , so i just visit it periodically about 3-5 days , it won't occupy too many resources , so please unsuspend it
  7. Something on your account is still trying to send emails, and the server has removed your mail service again as a result. Your account tried to send 220 emails earlier today. Do you have email forwarding set up by chance? Forwarders are a very common way to get suspended for overuse of email.
  8. Yesterday
  9. kindly create subdomain eisa.helioho.st
  10. No problem A few others also use it as well and have turned it back on. It's not an issue if its being used. The issues we saw were because every single one of the 4000+ domains on the server had it enabled, which meant lots of resources going to webmail subdomains that nobody used, and lots of exposure to bots that wanted to break in and send spam. By turning it off on domains where it's not needed, we save resources (both in terms of Apache vhosts and CPU/RAM use), and also substantially reduce Roundcube's exposure to abusive bots because the webmail subdomains simply show the (static HTML) queued page instead of Roundcube when its disabled.
  11. Dear Wolstech, thank you for your quick reply and clear explanation. Sorry for being the (maybe) only person on your platform who is actually using the webmail feature. To answer your question: at the moment it has not disabled itself automatically yet. I will keep track of it. Thank you again! 🙂 🙏
  12. Domain added. You do realize you can ask for more than one domain at a time right? For the storage space, you can do that here: https://heliohost.org/dashboard/storage/
  13. We did a bulk-disable of webmail on all accounts recently because it was determined that webmail was responsible for PHP not working properly on our servers, 503 errors, and long Apache restart times due to wasted vhosts. Accounts also no longer come with webmail by default. The majority of our users don't use it. Disabling webmail for everyone was one of the many things done as part of this maintenance: https://helionet.org/index/topic/64578-johnny-maintenance/ That said, this was a one-time process and it should not remove itself repeatedly. If you turn it back on, it should stay enabled going forward. Turning it back on does require you wait 2 hours for an Apache restart before it will work again. Is it disabling itself again after you turn it back on?
  14. Thank You sir
  15. Dear support team, Just recently I found out that I can not access webmail through a web browser. In the past I could. Then I saw that in the control panel that webmail was disabled (see pic1 and pic2). I enabled webmail for all e-mail addresses in my account and thought all would be fine (see pic3 and pic4). Today however I could not access webmail again. When checking the settings in the control panel, I saw that webmail settings had disappeared again and that webmail had been disables again (automatically?) (pic1 and pic2). I again enabled webmail for all e-mail adresses (pic3 and pic4). Questions: 1) why is webmail/Roundcube disabled? Is it because of a bug or is it done automatically? 2) I use webmail, so how to enable it permanently for the e-mail addresses setup in my account? I searches the forum but I could not find answers to my questions. Your help and assistance is appreciated very much. Thank you and kind regards. 🙂
  16. Your VPS has been powered back on, and your new subscription has been linked to your VPS.
  17. i will like you go help me add this domain my username is tinagolden the domain i want is "BrendaMaltese.helioho.st". and also how will increase the storage to 5gb thank you
  18. The main domain must be replaced with something else, and it cannot be removed entirely. We can provide a subdomain like nthanga7.helioho.st if you would like. Does that work?
  19. kindly remove current domain to remain default.
  20. Try moving the code into a subfolder (e.g. make it vims.bharat.hacked.us/ci4/). The root of a domain can be...special. All domains support mod_rewrite by default, no need to request it or anything. These are the Apache directives applied to a domain root by default, so yes AllowOverride is set to All (and directory listings are enabled by default): <Location /> Options +Indexes AllowOverride All </Location>
  21. Hi, I'm hosting a CodeIgniter 4 app on my domain. Could you please: Enable mod_rewrite for my domain? Allow .htaccess overrides (AllowOverride All)? Confirm that Rewrite rules in .htaccess will work inside httpdocs/? I'm trying to remove index.php from URLs but it only works when I include it i want to access my subdomain https://vims.bharat.hacked.us/abc but its not working https://vims.bharat.hacked.us/index.php/abc is working pls help me
  22. Ahh. Okay
  23. A VPS administrator will be able to resolve this for you in about seven hours. It's currently nighttime in the US.
  24. I paid for the VPS account. Please re-activate it. Sorry for the delay.
  25. Thank you for letting us know. Sorry about the suspension. It looks like your account is active again now, but if you need any of your files they can be found at https://heliohost.org/backup/
  26. Last week
  27. Also add the relevant DKIM, SPM and DMARC settings. I have added the nameservers

    No More Ads

HelioHost is happy to announce that we're disabling ads across all of our websites and hosting plans, including the free Johnny plan, starting now. Back in 2008 through 2016 or so HelioHost was 100% funded by ads, and we made so much ad revenue that we even managed to save up quite a bit of money in our bank account too. It might come as a shock to some of you, but it isn't free for us to provide free hosting, so we still have to pay for stuff like electricity and internet access. As the years went by Adsense kept paying less less and less each year, and our bills kept adding up to be higher than the ad revenue. So our bank accounts kept dwindling lower and lower. There were a few scary years in there where we had to make some hard decisions whether or not to just give up and shut down entirely. We didn't think anyone would be willing to donate to us, but we didn't really have a lot of other options, so starting in 2016 we began asking for donations. We were then, and still are, completely shocked by how generous people can be. After finishing a record setting fundraiser to purchase a new server earlier this year, we discussed it and decided that we don't need ads at all anymore. As long as people keep donating towards our non-profit mission to provide free or low cost hosting, we don't need to bombard you with annoying advertisements. Thank you to all of our donors for making this possible.
