I'm sorry if I made this confusing. I've purchased the domain marchasdecristo.com months ago. As I understand, I need to add a new subdomain in my hosting account so that you can link it to my domain. So I definitely want to add my .com domain to my account. Thank you very much.

Morty Billing Query - Moodle 5.1 and 5.0 MARIADB version error
Krydos replied to costacja's topic in Escalated Requests
The August estimate was based on your current load average over the previous 30 days which at the time was about $1.00 per month. If you start having overages you get billed more per day. On 2026-05-02 you added a bunch of cronjobs that ran really frequently and were causing you to have overages every day. +----------+--------+ | username | bill | +----------+--------+ | costacja | 0.4386 | | costacja | 0.3904 | | costacja | 0.3625 | | costacja | 0.3495 | | costacja | 0.3243 | | costacja | 0.3127 | | costacja | 0.3113 | | costacja | 0.3060 | | costacja | 0.3051 | | costacja | 0.3242 | | costacja | 0.3387 | | costacja | 0.3272 | | costacja | 0.3485 | | costacja | 0.3823 | | costacja | 0.2885 | +----------+--------+ You can move back to Morty if you want at https://heliohost.org/dashboard/move/ -
ryofist started following DNS Record Change Request
-
Hello. I would like to make a request to have the following DNS records added for my domain, ryofist.dev: TXT: Type TXT Host @ Value apple-domain=RvomyYYeuqO6HJEe SPF: Type TXT Host @ Value "v=spf1 include:icloud.com ~all" MX: Type MX Host @ Priority 10 Value mx01.mail.icloud.com. MX: Type MX Host @ Priority 10 Value mx02.mail.icloud.com. DKIM: Type CNAME Host sig1._domainkey Value sig1.dkim.ryofist.dev.at.icloudmailadmin.com. This is for the purpose of connecting my custom domain to iCloud Mail. Their webpage also provides the following troubleshooting information, should using it become necessary: If your registrar doesn't support "@", enter your domain name as the host. Make sure to include the period at the end of the MX and DKIM values. Start by including the period at the end of the MX and DKIM values and quotes in the SPF TXT record. If it fails, try entering the values without the quotes or without the ending punctuation. TTL should be set to 3600 seconds or 1 hour. My HelioHost username is RyoFist.

Morty Billing Query - Moodle 5.1 and 5.0 MARIADB version error
costacja replied to costacja's topic in Escalated Requests
Sorry. I don't see it (I didn't find it in my mailbox). I thought my balance would be enough until August because my site usage is almost the same as it was before. What can I do? -
I've reset your account as requested. You should receive an email shortly so you can take the next steps to recreate it. I made a backup before the reset, so if you discover you need any of your old files, you can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups

It looks like you also posted a request about this on Discord at: https://discord.com/channels/398197622168616962/398538798994161664/1523251516734046248 Wherever you prefer to ask for help, please ask your question in one place only. All staff are unpaid volunteers who donate their free time outside of real-life commitments (paid job, school, family, etc.) In this case, 2 staff members spent their time answering both your questions about the same thing, which is a waste of unpaid volunteer time and effort. For guidance on where and how to ask for help, see: https://wiki.helionet.org/FAQ#Where_do_I_ask_for_help? To understand how Community-Powered Technical Support works, visit: https://wiki.helionet.org/FAQ#How_does_community-powered_support_work? For support response timelines (SLAs and ETAs), check: https://wiki.helionet.org/ETA Asking the same question in multiple places can lead to wasted staff time and effort, resulting in slower support timescales for you and all other HelioHost users.

There is nothing to enable, and no user interface for python. You just use it. See this guide for an example of how to get started. https://wiki.helionet.org/Python_Tutorial or for Flask specifically: https://wiki.helionet.org/Flask As for SSH, this is intentionally not supported on the shared hosting plans for security reasons. If you need SSH access, you'll need to buy a VPS instead.

whgihanlavindu started following To enable Python hosting
-
Hello, I have a new Tommy hosting account (spftracker.heliohost.us). I want to deploy a Flask application. However, my Plesk account does not have the Python option, and SSH access is marked as "Forbidden". Could you please enable Python support or let me know the correct way to deploy a Flask application on my account?

[Solved] The option to log out of the Heliohost Dashboard
Krydos replied to kitty's topic in Escalated Requests
Yeah, as long as the mobile version works there should be no reason to request a desktop site from a mobile device. -
[Solved] The option to log out of the Heliohost Dashboard
KazVee replied to kitty's topic in Escalated Requests
I opened incognito windows in both mobile Chrome and Firefox, and I can see the logout button now. The desktop mode still shows the email address only, and no logout option when clicking on the email but that's not the main issue anyway. -
I understand your concern. I run a non-profit as well, so I completely get it. When I said "as soon as possible," I truly meant whenever possible. Whenever you and the other volunteers have the time, I'd really appreciate it if you could get to it when you can. There's absolutely no pressure, and I'm sorry if my wording came across that way. I really appreciate the time and effort you're all volunteering. Thank you.

[Solved] The option to log out of the Heliohost Dashboard
Krydos replied to kitty's topic in Escalated Requests
You'll probably need to clear your browser cache, but can you see the logout button at the very bottom of the mobile menu while logged in now? -
All staff are unpaid volunteers. It is also a long holiday weekend in the USA, where many of the unpaid volunteer staff are based. Most for-profit hosting companies have a staff of full time employees who sit around providing support and working 40 hours a week. It's very rare for any of our volunteers to work more than an hour or so each day. None of our volunteers are required to log a certain number of hours and may come and go as they please. If we aren't having fun volunteering, providing support, chatting with the community, and developing new features then we take a break and do things that are more fun for us. This is why we don't have SLAs or ETAs for new features or repairs, and this is why things move a little slower than a for-profit company that you might be used to dealing with. Help is generally provided within 24 hours, and we encourage users to bump their requests if it's been more than 24 hours with no response, in case we missed it somehow. Our best efforts to respond within 24 hours can be impacted by several factors, including but not limited to: Time zone differences (most staff are based in North America) Work School Family Other real-life commitments For more information, please review the ETA page in our Wiki: https://wiki.helionet.org/ETA If you are unable to access the Wiki, please provide the IP address displayed on the error page. Thanks!

I can reproduce the same issue in mobile Chrome too. -
[Solved] The option to log out of the Heliohost Dashboard
KazVee replied to kitty's topic in Escalated Requests
Thanks for reporting this. I downloaded Firefox to my mobile and I can reproduce the same issue. When logged in, the top of the menu still displays 'Log in' above all the other menu options, even though I am already signed in and can progress to Plesk and the other logged-in options. I'll escalate this thread for the attention of Krydos. -

The option to log out of the Heliohost Dashboard is not available in the mobile version. And if I try to view the desktop version, it only displays the email address and the dropdown menu doesn't work. I'm using the Firefox browser. - Yesterday

Is your goal to make https://globalyouthsciencejournal.app/ show the same content as globalyouthsciencejournal.helioho.st? Or is the content supposed to be different on the .app site? If they're supposed to be identical, an alias is probably an easier route than duplicating the site and figuring out why the .app copy is broken.
