I have an additional request regarding my database on the Morty server. I am trying to connect remotely to my MySQL database using HeidiSQL and my local Python environment for development purposes. However, I am consistently getting the following error: Access denied for user 'talesaz_matrizhub00'@'2804:...' (using password: YES) Here is what I have already checked and configured: My credentials are 100% correct (I can access the database perfectly through phpMyAdmin in Plesk). In Plesk > Databases > User Management, I have already set the Access Control to "Allow remote connections from any host". Could you please verify if there is any server-side issue? This database is related to matrizhub.heliohost.us Thank you again for your time!

Hello HelioHost Support Team, I am hosting my Flask application under the domain atenahub.app.br on the Morty server. Since the server maintenance that occurred yesterday, I have been experiencing frequent "500 Internal Server Error" responses. I checked my access logs and noticed several automated malicious bot requests (directory fuzzing/scanning for .env files). I am not entirely sure if these 500 errors are simply my application breaking due to these bot attack attempts, or if it is a side effect of the recent server maintenance/movement. Could you please verify the server status and help me investigate the root cause? Additionally, to make my backend more robust and mitigate these brute-force/scanning attempts, I plan to implement a rate limiter. Could you please install the Flask-Limiter Python library on my server environment? Thank you for your time and assistance!

Hi. Thanks you for you guys effort for maintaining a free host. Unfortunately after the Johnny server decided to implode I have decided to move out of Heliohost. From what I got from the backup, the database (thelazycat2011_neomotion) is not included in the backup. I just want to know if the database is still recoverable as its a huge important part to my community. Regardless, thanks for everything

An administrator will be able to help with the Morty migration and your missing database files. It is possible that your database may be recoverable, but as always, we recommend creating your own backups. What name(s) did you use in your database?

I think I've got something for you. Download the backup from https://heliohost.org/backup again. The original file is in there with the -old.tar.gz but there is a new .tzst file attached too. See if that .tzst file has the database you need.

I should also mention that the table list is from months ago. Some may have been retired from the DB as they were not used. So if you find a folder with many of the tables but not all, that will probably be it.

That is for sure the 2nd DB i do not need which is from a Laravel framework. Mine yes, wanted no. If you cannot find by filename "hd2stats_*", can you grep for "MrCreeper7g" as he is the newest user that should be in the DB I want. The next hurdle would be that I am not sure you realize the effort to restore a DB from idb/frm even if you can find them. Hope you know more about it than i do.

I just verified in the code and all table names have a prefix of 'hd2stats_' while the ones you listed did not. I believe the ones you listed are from the 2nd, un-needed DB I mentioned. I appreciate you looking into this. Unique text in a table could be "Dio-Helldiver" and "Da-Dio1969"

Can you give me some text that would be inside the database? Sometimes when files are recovered in a situation like this the filename gets lost, but the data inside may still be there with a randomized name.

I took another look at the crashed Johnny server, and there is no trace of that database remaining. You'll have to restore it from your own personal backups that you made.

I have created the new account on Morty but I seem to be missing the database from the backup that was available to me just now. The old account had 2 databases but I only need the one called 'fahqdio_hd2stats'.

Hello, Received the email of the issue with the Johnny server, appreciate the email with the notice and the backup. I am wondering about the database, seems some were not able to be recovered and mine is not in the backup file, want to confirm if it is the case with it. While Johnny is rebuild, could the site be move to Morty temporarily?, once the server is back will confirm if we stay on Morty. 😉 Thanks for the all service and support you guys have been given with the hosting service. \m/

I have sent you an invite to create a new account on Morty. During signup you'll be able to pick one domain as your main domain, but after the account is created we can add additional domains to the account. You can download a backup of your Johnny data from https://heliohost.org/backup but not all of the recovered data is in there yet. If you're missing anything let us know and we can try to find more for you. Let us know if you have any issues getting your websites back online. Our apologies for the downtime.
