You can disable modsecurity rules yourself. 1. Login at https://heliohost.org/login/ 2. Click Continue to Plesk. 3. Click Websites & Domains in the left navigation pane. 4. Click your domain to expand the view. 5. Click the Dashboard tab along the top. 6. Click Web Application Firewall icon in the bottom right corner. 7. Type the ID "210580" into the Security rules IDs box (without the quotes). 8. Click ok at the bottom of the screen. 9. Wait for up to 2 hours for Apache to restart. Let us know if you run into any issues with the above process. -

Hello, I am getting a 403 Forbidden error due to a modsecurity false positive when users return to my site from google oauth login. The Comodo WAF Rule ID 210580 gets triggered because google's callback url legitimately contains "userinfo.profile" in the scope parameter, which the firewall mistakes for an os file access attempt. domain: tobacom.helioho.st url: /api/googleauth could you please whitelist this rule for my domain? thanks full error: ModSecurity: Access denied with code 403 (phase 2). It looks like the upgrades from yesterday broke some of the email functionality of the Tommy server. Webmail wasn't working and receiving emails was failing as well. However, sending emails continued working. Webmail and incoming mails should be fixed now. Any emails that were sent to domains on Tommy overnight should work now because the remote mail servers should continue retrying now that the server is correctly accepting mail again. So no emails should be lost, but rather just delayed a bit. Thanks to the users who reported these issues. Let us know if you're noticing any other issues on the Tommy server after the upgrades.

I changed the password on your VPS, logged in with the new password at https://heliohost.org/dashboard/cancel/ and clicked the cancel button for you. Everything seems to have worked fine, so I'm not sure why it didn't work for you. Anyways, thanks for being a VPS customer since 2021. If you have need of a VPS again in the future I hope you'll come back. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

This issue has been resolved. The mail server wasn't working on Tommy because of an issue with an SSL certificate. -
Users cannot yet manage subdomains (or domains or aliases) themselves. There are plans to add this feature in the future, but there is no ETA for when it may be implemented. You can read more about why we cannot offer SLAs/ETAs here:https://wiki.helionet.org/ETA In the meantime, an admin can help with domain changes. I've now added that subdomain to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. You were suspended because our Multiple Account Detection system thinks you made duplicate accounts. The first line of our Terms of Service says that users are only allowed 1 account on Tommy or Johnny. Is this the account you wish to keep? Sometimes users make more than 1 account because they don't know they can have multiple domains on a single account. Sometimes users make multiple accounts because they don't know they can upgrade their account storage space. If you did create more than 1 account and these reasons don't apply, please let us know what the reason is and we can help guide you to the solution that doesn't violate our Terms of Service. If you've only created 1 account, is it possible that someone who shares your home computer or home internet connection also created an account? Have you ever logged into your HelioHost account from your work or school, where there may be other account holders on our platform that you might not even know about?

I could not see option to cancel. I tried looking but could not see my vps hence created a post.

You should be able to log into your dashboard via our website and cancel it from there. https://heliohost.org/login/ Make sure you use the username associated with the VPS (wishplorer) to log in. If you're unable to cancel it yourself, let me know and I'll have Krydos cancel it for you.

PHP 8.5 is now available on both our Tommy and Morty plans. We will be installing PHP 8.5 on the free Johnny server in a few weeks as well. We've also taken the opportunity to upgrade Plesk to the latest version and do a thorough upgrade of all system packages. The performance for the Tommy server has been a little slow for the last few hours due to high load, but things are going back to normal now. There may have been a few errors messages as various services restarted, but now that the maintenance is over let us know if any of the error messages persist. We try to avoid doing upgrades too often, because they can cause downtime and slow performance, but it's critical to keep everything up to date to avoid vulnerabilities.

I used my Paypal account to purchase hosting for "ImaraProducts" She didn't have a paypal account to use so I helped her out. She paid the whole amount via Mpesa so I'm not paying for her nor I'm I managing the account since she has a webdeveloper to design her site. I don't have her logins and I won't touch her account at all. I am sorry for using my paypal account to get her an account, I didn't know it would have an issue

I have just pointed my domain to the hosting I haven't uploaded any content to the site I don't have any other accounts on HelioHost. This is my first time creating an account here. I was recomended by an existing member. Does that have anything to do with this message? They logged on their account to show me so maybe the system thinks we are on the same WiFi. I can assure you I have no other accounts on HelioHost. I used his paypal account to pay for the package since I don't have paypal (We are in Kenya, Paypal to mobile money only works on 1 network, I'm not on that network so I can't use my mobile money account to pay for things online hence the sharing. I get this problem with Netflix and Spotify too but they have understood that same payment account doesn't mean the same account) I only have 1 website, I don't have any other sites, I'm not a website developer, I have paid someone to design and develop my website so maybe that's also triggering something when they log in to upload my website.
