I would like Mac better, but I really don't like the fact that they are a control freak. I also will be discontinuing my use of windows solely because of Windows 8. I love all the handy features it has and it's impressive speed. I also like Mac for it's simpleness. Can't wait for Lion to be released!! 2. Windows 7 - Even though I don't own Windows 7 (I own Windows Vista) and I prefer Mac, I have to admit that Windows 7 is a very good operating system with a great design, look and gadgets. 3. Linux - I don't own any Linux systems, but I'm going to put my vote in for this anyway since it is great for managing websites and hosting websites. Mac OS X is based upon the UNIX system, meaning that it is very secure and does not get PC viruses. Because that Mac is based upon UNIX, you can use the usual Linux/UNIX command line with Mac.
