Dragonfire Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Post here the name of different online encyclopedias I prefer encarta , here is the url : http://www.encarta.com
Dragonfire Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 I found another online encyclopedia. That's also very good and quite famous. Try it out. http://en.wikipedia.org
saiyanprince Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 try britannica http://www.britannica.com that is quite good
Dragonfire Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 but for britannica, you have to pay for it and encarta only has results of knowledgable stuff (educational) and wikipedia I like the best because it has everything also animes, games etc. well, if I had some school work then I would search on encarta
Dragonfire Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 wikipedia is getting more famous .. but still I would stick to encarta because the info is 100% accurate because microsoft made it but wikipedia is an online encyclopedia where other people give or post the information themselves which can easily be edited
Dragonfire Posted January 12, 2007 Author Posted January 12, 2007 i heard that there is this new feature in the new encarta version that will solve all our math problems for us and also show us how to solve it step by step, pretty good, isnt it ?
Quantum Media LLC Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 i heard that there is this new feature in the new encarta version that will solve all our math problems for us and also show us how to solve it step by step, pretty good, isnt it ? The only issue with that is, how are we ever going to learn how to do it when we have something or someone do it for us. And that goes with anything. Especially computers.
Dragonfire Posted March 4, 2007 Author Posted March 4, 2007 encarta 2007 has a maths feature i think.. it can solve almost anything related to maths , even the most difficult quadratic equations, you should check it out
elragal_30 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 but for britannica, you have to pay for it and encarta only has results of knowledgable stuff (educational) and wikipedia I like the best because it has everything also animes, games etc. well, if I had some school work then I would search on encarta about Encarta it is good enclobydia but as you say at educational only but are you know about there rebote that can answer and chat with you at any time and about every thing at education also but you can get some fun with playing with it and ask him some silly questions for me the best is Wikipedia it have information about every thing it is also translated at many languages (specially my langauge ) [To MODERATORS: tell me if i allow to send this rebot E.mail so other can chat with it ???]
Dragonfire Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 there are also some bots like smarter child to chat with, they could provide you with useful information. Check out this website for more information : http://www.botmetro.net
Noxious Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Go with Encarta the best free resource I know of.
Helions Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 encarta is the way to go.. wikipedia is alright, but as someone mentioned in an earlier post, anyone can edit the information on the site...
