/\/\/\/ Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 yeah, reading the book would be the easiest. plus they're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the movies. but yeah i have to agree, from an outsiders view it was kinda confusing,... i even got lost at parts! i hope they add deleted scenes or something in the dvd.
nehe32 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 to be honest i didn't really like the movies, i don't know how the books are as i haven't ever opened on and started to read it, that may be why people like it so much is for the books and how much better they are than the movies?
kikass Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 yeah J.k rowling got famous for her books not the movies.
Dragonfire Posted February 4, 2006 Author Posted February 4, 2006 I do not even think that JK Rowling made the movies. Its just that the movies were based on the books written by JK Rowling. by the way, you people know she actually wrote the first book, just like that. Did not have any idea to do so. She was really poor and the she just wrote what she imagined once. ANd I did not want to waste my time reading such a huge book, I rather just ask you people so please tell. This is the harry potter stuff downloads site : http://www.hpdownloads.net
majazac Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Read a book is not a waste of time. On the contrary. The time you'll spend looking for infos on the books is more than enough reading the first one of the serie. And after that you'll die to read the rest. She's a great writer. The books are FAAARRRRRR MUCH BETTER than the movies. And you'll just understand it by reading all of them.
HerLoss Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I would certainly not call it a waste of time. And even if it is, I read the most recent one in 10 hours. That really isnt a lot of time wasted.
majazac Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 i read it in 5h... sitting my [bleeped!] in the computer. Got it online...
HerLoss Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 i read it in 5h... sitting my [bleeped!] in the computer. Got it online... Yeah, well I lost about 6 hours turning pages, so it turned out to be more like 4 hours.
majazac Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 well then i kinda lost one hour rolling the screen and closing my eyes a few times to give them rest...
HerLoss Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Oh yeah, I forgot blinking. That's like a half hour right there!
majazac Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 exactly.. so let's say that we read it in the same time... (and i'd be giving you a helluvah gift... My readin speed on an ordinary book is gret!)
HerLoss Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 No way, my blinking puts me at a half hour faster than you.
majazac Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 hey, i have to blink too you know? AND i also have to discount the time to breathe... ... So about 1h to scroll dow the page, 30 mnts to rest the eyes, 30 mnts to blink and 30 mnts to breathe leaves me with 3h.. Your count is still in 3h30... That is if we consider that 6h to turn pages isn't EXCESSIVELY TOO MUCH
