Dragonfire Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I might be getting a core 2 duo processor and a high-end graphic card for vista. Is it worth it?
Helions Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I might be getting a core 2 duo processor and a high-end graphic card for vista. Is it worth it? yea i think it's worth it...
Mystical Water Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Core 2 Quad once comes in the market, everyone would be after it. Core 2 Duo doesn't stands a chance to win against the new processor.

Maxdamantus Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 2.4GHz P4 (Motherboard can't overclock, running at 40C under safe temp) 2 HDDs: HDA is 80GB with 2 partitions, HDB is 40GB with 2 partitions. 1024MB RAM (Upgraded a while ago.. Max my motherboard can take. I'll free some hard drive space for a swap drive some time.) Windows XP and Gentoo Linux operating systems (I prefer Gentoo, but I'll keep Windows just incase) Integrated Video and Sound cards (Both intel), hasn't got any special PCI slots, so hard to find a good video card for it. Integrated ethernet 100mb/s card.. CD-RW (I'll get a DVD-RW some time..) That's about all I can think of right now. :S
