[HH#164855] vps issue

Hi,
I'm trying to login to my vps, I was told my username was changed to
hunterparker as something was messed up earlier after creating it, it says
my password is invalid, and when I try to reset it, it says my reset is
pending, and I'd get an email when an admin applies the change. Can someone
please help?

It looks like you picked Ubuntu 26 which is very new, and hasn't been tested very thoroughly yet. It looks like there was a system error creating Ubuntu 26 VPS which was causing the wrong username to get created on the VPS. Thanks for helping us debug the newest OS. We'll get it fixed as soon as possible.

I'm honored! I've been a big support of helio host for years, I remember
when I started with you when there was no tommy or morty, and you were
using cpanel, and very old scripts for domain changes and account
deletions, now you guys I think are one of the best free web hosts around,
I've even talked about helio host on my podcast a lot. I didn't know ubuntu
26 wasn't tested yet, that explains a lot of why the wrong username was
created. Is there a way to fix that so I can use it? Is it possible to
switch back to 24 or something? I'm glad I was able to help you out even
though I didn't even know I was doing that, lol.
