Please be aware that free signups open twice a day at midnight UTC and noon UTC. Sometimes they fill within a second and sometimes they can stay open for an hour. Our servers are very full so we can't offer unlimited signups. We attempt to keep the uptime of the free Johnny plan above 97%. If the uptime drops too low we reduce the number of free accounts we give away each day. If the uptime gets better we increase the number of free accounts we give away. As you can see our free accounts are very popular so they fill pretty fast somedays. If no one is trying to get an account that day they can stay open for an hour or so though. The trick is to try to signup when no one else is. It takes most people a few tries to get an account.
