I hope you?re doing well. I?d like to ask whether it?s possible to prepay for my senpai@vps128 account on a shorter term say, three months instead of the standard six-month interval.

I took a look at your billing so far. On 2025-04-10 you paid $4.00 for a VPS. Then on 2025-04-14 you paid another $5.00 for a faster VPS. Then on 2025-04-15 you upgraded to 2 GB memory, 6 CPUs, and 100 GB storage. Then on 2025-04-20 you upgraded again to 2 GB memory, 6 CPUs, and 200 GB storage. That means your current VPS is paid for until roughly 2025-06-05. I went ahead and generated a 3 month link for you to pay your current rate $9.50 for 3 months for a total of $28.50. Keep in mind this doesn't include the 10% discount you would get for paying 6 months in advance. If you want to use this 3 month link it will extend your expiration date until 2025-09-05. Let us know if you have any questions.

We got the 3 month payment, and your VPS now expires on 2025-12-05. We'll email you at that time if we haven't heard back from you before then. Thanks for renewing your VPS for another 3 months.

Glad your VPS started working again on its own. Sometimes when you do a reboot certain processes can cause the reboot to take a really long time to finish.

One I've commonly seen do this is the unattended-upgrades package. If it's in the middle of doing an automated update when you issue the reboot command it can keep the VPS powered on, but unresponsive to SSH, http, https, etc for up to 30 minutes. Kind of annoying, but if you abruptly power off a Linux server that is not completely done upgrading a critical system package it could break the entire system.

MariaDB and other processes can cause the reboot to wait for 5-10 minutes as well. I would say that if your reboot hasn't completed after 30-45 minutes, then something probably went wrong. Most of the time a reboot will only take like 30 seconds though.
