I can?t secure django.bobrock.heliohost.us when I try. Instead I get this error:

Could not issue an SSL/TLS certificate for django.bobrock.heliohost.us
Details
Could not issue a Let's Encrypt SSL/TLS certificate for django.bobrock.heliohost.us. Authorization for the domain failed.

Invalid response from https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/authz/2160867845/474858999215.
Details:
Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:connection
Status: 400
Detail: 65.19.154.90: Fetching https://django.bobrock.heliohost.us/.well-known/acme-challenge/HSvYKz3IAEAMD6uqR18zJUjad_wFo5FnakWtj4ECc3w: Timeout during connect (likely firewall problem)

What should I do to fix that?

That did help. The problem was in Plesk forcing a redirect to HTTPS. Is it safe to set that option again, now that the certificate has been issued?

I recommend using .htaccess to redirect to https since you can exclude the .well-known directory. That will allow SSL to renew automatically without an issue in 2 months. If you enable the https redirect in Plesk you will likely have to disable it again and manually renew your SSL.
