HelioHost Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 Username: rdrpshp, Server: Johnny, Main domain: kickvault.heliohost.usHi, I have a subdomain on freedns.afraid.org, and I want to connect it to my hosting server, I tried doing this by simply putting the heliohost subdomain that I had, kickvault.heliohost.us, and basically freedns will point to that from the domain that I have with them, but when this happens, there is no SSL Certificate, on the heliohost subdomain there is, but on the freedns one there isn't. I would greatly appreciate some help in this matter. Looking forward to your response. Thank You.

Krydos Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 The domain kickvault.fpr.net has been added to your account. The next step is to set your A record to 64.62.151.106 and your AAAA record to 2001:470:1:1ee::2009 to host the domain with us. Once the A and AAAA records are updated you'll be able to install a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate on it through Plesk. If you want to be able to receive email through this domain you'll need to set an MX record. If you want to be able to send email you'll need to set SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records as well.
