Thanks, and sorry for the late reply.

I'm only running a test database on here, and I have the data to restore it.

So as long as the new VPS has the same open ports/permissions as the old one I should be good. I'm able to login, but am not seeing postgres on my VPS so I'll reinstall and reach out if I have any issues.

You can get rid of any backups/old data that you have and I'll take this opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of PostgreSQL ?.
