We haven't gotten Rails running on our shared hosting plans quite yet, but it is a planned feature.

In order to signup for a VPS plan which has rails available immediately visit https://heliohost.org/vps/

In order to signup for Tommy which doesn't currently have rails but will eventually visit https://heliohost.org/tommy/

Free signups aren't currently available because we still haven't gotten all of our donors moved to the new control panel yet, but we hope to open free signups sometime after that.

Hi

Ok thank you, and what about just hosting a PostgreSQL db?

If so what plan would work and do you have any docs to set one up?

PostgreSQL is available on all of our plans. For the VPS you can install any version that you need. Tommy comes with version 13, and Johnny which will be released next has version 14. Most of our documentation is still for our old control panel, and hasn't been updated yet.

For installing PostgreSQL on a VPS you can follow these instructions https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-postgresql-on-ubuntu-22-04-quickstart

For Tommy or Johnny login to your account and go to Plesk > Databases > Add database, and make sure the dropdown box shows PostgreSQL (not MariaDB).
