Hi! I'm currently using a HelioHost VPS, and have generated a couple of large (~2-3 GB) backup files just in case. I want to download them to my local system, but since the speed is coming to about ~100 kbps, I was wondering if such a large download would affect the rest of the HelioHost network? Should I inform someone in advance or is there a best (eg. low-traffic) time to do this?

I'm fine with the low download speed; just wanted to make sure it's not affecting anyone else.

You're fine. Over the last 7 weeks we've averaged 0.91% of our available bandwidth. You can download it as fast as you want and it shouldn't bother anyone.

Oh okay, that's good to know. Thanks!
