The Lily server doesn't have a control panel so we've always required people to have an account on Johnny, Ricky, or Tommy for the control panel, and then Lily was an addon for the cPanel account. Since Johnny, Ricky, and Tommy don't have control panels right now either it probably won't work at all. Even the admins cannot access the control panel to manage settings for you.

We are currently installing Plesk on our servers. The main advantage to Plesk is that it will run on Linux servers like Johnny, Ricky, and Tommy and it will also run on Windows servers like Lily. So eventually we will be able to offer stand-alone Lily accounts that don't rely on having an account on a Linux server too.

And when will the Plex migration be finished? (give me an estimate)

Posted

We will be migrating Tommy to Plesk first. We've never set up a Plesk server before so we have no idea how long it will take. Maybe a couple weeks. Maybe a couple months. It's hard to say for sure. We also have to rewrite all of our scripts and our main website to support Plesk as well. Ricky will be next and probably won't take nearly as long because we will have the settings and the scripts already written from Tommy. Johnny will be last.

After Johnny we will think about installing Plesk on our Windows server Lily and setting up a new Linux server named Morty too.
