Korps Commander Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 No one invited the U.S. to come save Iraq. The U.S. came because we believed that Iraq had nuclear weapons. I agree. Now that the U.S. has Iraq, Texaco/Mobil/Arco/ and many other oil companies are circling around Iraq like sharks. First, the U.S. attacked because it thought that Iraq had WMDs. Then, when that proved to be untrue, the U.S. changed its reason to saving the Iraqi people.
majazac Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 They needed a reason after all... But I think that the whole weapon thing was made up. They knew that there wasn't any weapon in Irak. They planned to use that as THE argument... But then the press found out that it was untrue when papers leaked telling that CIA had done a report BEFORE the war starts telling that it had no weapons... Then they turned this into a rescue campaign to the poor Irak people... Just rememberin that Saddam Hussein was a previous member of CIA and placed in Irak command by them...
Korps Commander Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Saddam Hussein took power from the Iraqi government by force. Consider this: In a definite act of a coup, he suddenly arrested over half the members of the Iraqi Congress because he claimed that they were "unloyal". Then, he rewarded the "loyal" members by allowing them to gun down the "unloyal" ones........................
majazac Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Saddam Hussein was a CIA operative at that time. Irak was going down cuz of the two divergent religions, and most likely the one who were goning to take over the country was against US. Then he came and took the power by force and fore some time helped the US... Then the power came to his head and he no longer wanted to compromise with US
Korps Commander Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Have you seen pictures of his torture factories in Iraq?
majazac Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 what about the torture in Abudh Grahib (don't know how it's spelled correctly) made by american soldiers?
Korps Commander Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 The torture in Abu Gharib (if that is the right spelling) was performed by a bunch of demented guards - it wasn't the doing of the government. Torture chambers in Iraq were sponsered by the Hussein government, and even women and children were held there.................
majazac Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I'm not defendind Saddam... In fact I don't like him at all... I am agains torture by anybody... But americans in Irak aren't such a good guy or heros
Korps Commander Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Well, now that America is into Iraq too deep, what should it do?
majazac Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Leave? I mean, they should let the iraki people solve their own problems
Korps Commander Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Its kinda too late to just leave. Iraq is in a total mess right about now................
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Leave? I mean, they should let the iraki people solve their own problems I actually agree with you on this one. I mean, if they are so ungrateful, then so be it. I mean, someone tries to help them, and this is the thanks we get.
majazac Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Nobody asked for the US to help them... They went uninvited, stayed without people wants and now they just say that they are ungratufull? Oh come on...
awesomegamer Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 well we got involed ourself so we should help, but iraq should be able to solve its own problems without USA controlling it, they need to rebuild their country, but they cant do it if someone else is doing it for them. but we messed them, up, so its kinda both ways for me.
majazac Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 They freed the country of Saddam, ok. Nice... People liked... They could've lefted there and less negative effect on US would've been done. But now... Is already a non return situation... If they leave now, the only thing that they will win is no more rejection than already have...
