daskunk Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I'm very confused. I went to my main web page a few minutes ago (for the 10th tme today) and all of a sudden I'm getting a screen saying my account is suspended for lack of activity. I know this is incorrect for several reasons. First I'm logged into cpanel right now as I'm writing this. Secondly I've been logging into cpanel daily for the past month, sometimes multiple times per day. Third my website was heavily used yesterday evening for 5 hours. You can check my logs, files and directories. There has been an immense amount of activity the past month. But despite all that, I still went ahead and clicked on the renew account button. After filling in my account it came back and told me the account is active and there's nothing to renew! So something is clearly wrong. This is my main pagehttps://daskunk.heliohost.org/pbc/index.htmlMy user: daskunkMy email: daskunkworks@gmail.comMy Doman: daskunk.heliohost.orgMy Server: RickyCan you please help as I have a lot of remaining work to do.Thank you so much.
Sn1F3rt Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Well, your account is active now, but I see a lot of users complaining about the inactivity and renew system today. One such thread is already escalated, let's see what the root admins have to say on this.
daskunk Posted September 10, 2020 Author Posted September 10, 2020 It looks like it is working now so I assume they were able to track down the source of the problem. Thank you again for responding so quickly
Krydos Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I think I found the reason that Ricky has been doing this occasionally. It looks like the malfunction happened on August 15th, and has been affecting apache reboots occasionally since then. Thanks for reporting it. Hopefully it's fixed now.
daskunk Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 Thank you again for looking into it and finding the root cause.
