wbsentin Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 The IP address 73.230.129.182 has been blocked for trying to log in to IMAP with the wrong password too many times. To prevent this from happening again in the future please make sure your email client username and password are correct. New account. Had Thunderbird open with old email prior to making new emails on the Heliohost servers.Thanks.
wbsentin Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 I was briefly able to log in. But locked out once again. (Maybe my phone tripped the IMAP.) Still getting the error message on login and unable to access cpanel (not responding). I checked via vpn (to change my IP address) and I am able to access the cpanel. So I know it's not my internet. Sorry for the trouble. I wasn't expecting IP addresses to be locked out while I set up the new server.
Sn1F3rt Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Yeah indeed it was for failed IMAP logins again. I've unblocked your IP, but you should quickly disable whatever application is trying to login with wrong credentials unless you're suspended again.
wbsentin Posted June 19, 2020 Author Posted June 19, 2020 One more time. I changed email servers (no longer hosted on Helio) and removed my phone app. But needed internet for it to remove from phone. So it accessed it again and blocked the ip. Also wasn't expecting email to eat into the available space. Which is why I moved email servers.
