Luigi123 Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 You were suspended for having multi-accounts and they are: jasonpikjoe6georgenejs123456 According to the Terms of Services, our users only allow to have ONE account. Please tell me which you would like to keep and the rest will all get deleted it?
wolstech Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 The account joe6 was already unsuspended in another request. These accounts cannot be restored.
jasonpik Posted June 3, 2020 Author Posted June 3, 2020 Hello, The reason why I created 4 accounts is that I use Afraid Free DNS and I can only use A records and not Nameservers. On Heliohost there is no way to add one of those subdomains as an addon domain. It can only be use as a main domain.
wolstech Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Afraid.org is a known issue with our service (in fact, it's not really compatible with pretty much any cPanel-based hosting services). You can in fact use custom name servers with them though how to do so is not obvious. I believe someone on here posted the instructions before, but I can't find them at the moment. Also, we can add manually extra domains to your account for you. No need for more than one account, you can just ask for the extras
wolstech Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Here's a screenshot of someone else registering a domain there using NS records. It doesn't have instructions, but it shows it can be done. You apparently have to register the same domain twice, once with each NS, to get both of them added. https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/39193-krydos-alternatives-for-manually-parking-domains-for-users/page-2?do=findComment&comment=173080 Whether the free subdomains they offer can do it, I don't know, but the DNS function itself can definitely handle it.
Sn1F3rt Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Yeah @wolstech. As you said, each DNS record has to be registered twice with ns1 and ns2 on the two entries.
jasonpik Posted June 3, 2020 Author Posted June 3, 2020 When I try adding nameserver it says this “NS records on dynamic dns domains are currently restricted, contact an admin for assistance to have it enabled”
wolstech Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 You shouldn't be using a Dynamic DNS domain with a proper hosting provider...DDNS is meant to be used for hosting stuff on an internet connection with a dynamic IP like a home PC. Hosting providers like us have static IPs and don't need DDNS. You can contact them and ask if they'll turn it on so you can do it anyway, but you would need to find a different domain if they refuse. Our services (especially the email) won't work with just an A record, so doing it that way is pointless. Email alone requires an MX and several TXT records in addition to an A record, and there's also a few CNAMEs that cPanel expects for services like FTP and Webdisk. That's the whole point of the NS record, it basically tells anyone asking FreeDNS for this information to ask us instead, and since we also host your site, we know exactly what records you need and just supply them.
Sn1F3rt Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 No, he won't refuse. Just email Joshua, he'll enable nameservers for you.
