cle2019 Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 How can i get a DV certificate or SSL Certificate for my Tommy server domain...Help me please
Sn1F3rt Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 cPanel automatically issues a DV certificate as soon as you add a domain here after pointing the nameservers to HelioHost. However, this process can take sometime to complete. So if you have just added the domain, wait a few hours for the certificate to be issued.
cle2019 Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 i didnt receive any ssl certificate... i only receive a private key https://imgur.com/m1NsIhphttps://imgur.com/vOZOUSOhttps://imgur.com/7mvn8pN it says there are no certification on this server
wolstech Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 You don't qualify for a certificate because your domain name is too long. 10:12:48 AM WARN (XID yd5ccu) The value “cvsu-ccj-cle-reviewer-mobile-application-admin-thesis2019.heliohost.org” for “commonName” is too long by 7 bytes. The maximum allowed length is 64 bytes. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/SSL/Auto/Provider/cPanel.pm line 206. cle2019 Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 if i change my domain name... can i be qualified for a certificate?
wolstech Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Yes. Make it something short like thesis2019.heliohost.org and it would work. You can change it here: http://heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain
cle2019 Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 okay sir thanks.. ive done it already... i need to wait 48 hours before it changes..thank you so much
wolstech Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Since you’re on Tommy it should take affect within an hour or two.
wolstech Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Tommy’s very quick about it, 24 to 48 hours is for Johnny. In fact the new domain is already working. Auto SSL might take a few hours for that to run but it won’t fail for the domain being too long now, so it should get you a certificate.
cle2019 Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 oh okay i see... let me check.. thank you for the response
