I changed my domain nameserver (cybercity.eu.org) about 2 days ago, and the propagation is too slow and I can't add it through cpanel. Is there any way to add manually?

I noticed that I was not the only one to suffer from this problem. But the strangest thing is that another domain of mine (photoborg.com), which is in Google Domains, took 1 week to normalize the spread, that is, it is not only the fault (.eu.org).

Could someone tell me why? Until this year, I never had a problem changing the name server and everything worked fine.

But recently, it’s quite boring to do that.

Thanks!

PS: The propagation is bad, but for the Bybyron tool, it's OK...

We've been having tons of weird issues with DNS propagation lately for some reason. EU.org is by far the worst affected, but I've seen Freenom and others take their time on occasion as well. We have no idea why.

What's weird is that in my experience, if I manually park one of these broken domains for someone, the DNS suddenly propagates within hours, as if everyone else was waiting for us to park it. (There are some domains that do this intentionally, namely the .br TLD which refuses name servers if they're not preconfigured, but I've never seen it outside of .br).

What do you want this added as?

If you want an addon domain, please create a subdomain on your account and let me know what it is so I can park your domain on top (that's all an addon domain is internally...a subdomain with an alias on top :P ). If it's an alias, just let me know and I'll park it.

I have another domain and I changed your name server on the 16th and so far, the propagation has been ridiculous, it's like I haven't done anything there. I'm also not planning on using it now, but it's still frustrating.

The domain I would like you to add is (cybercity.eu.org), I created a subdomain for it. It is the domain of my main site. But I don't want it to be the "main domain", because it will throw the files in (public_html) and I don't want it.

Thanks!

this doesn't happen with other domains (including Freenom ones).

That's the problem though...it sometimes does. EU.org does it just about every time, but I've had at least 2 users encounter this with Freenom. It's indeed a rarity though compared to eu.org

I think we're going to just have to treat eu.org domains like we do .br going forward. Your number 1 is the method we recommend for .br typically (make main domain, set NS and wait to propagate, change main domain back, add to cPanel as addon/alias).

The system successfully parked (aliased) the domain “cybercity.eu.org” on top of the domain “cybercity.eu.org.707.heliohost.org”.

You should be good now.

Create a free account on ClouDNS (https://www.cloudns.net/) and add the EU.org domain to it; point the EU.org domain to their NS; change NS records on ClouDNS panel to HelioHost nameservers and add an A record to your server (Tommy, Ricky or Johnny) IP address; add the EU.org to HelioHost cPanel; change the NS on EU.org to the HelioHost ones.

For this I use DNSexit, mainly to configure domains on SourceForge, or on Github. But I also used this technique on other hosts.

Thanks, that helped a lot and it is impressive to see how the propagation started to spread quickly.
