Hi, there. I've just pointed in my Freenom account the domain name orangeadex.tk to:

ns1.heliohost.org

ns2.heliohost.org

Now I just need to know how to do the second procedure. Could you help me, please? Many thanks!

Note: my current url/domain is https://orangeadex.heliohost.org. I'd also like to preserve this SSL certificate (HTTPS).

Wait for the nameservers to propagate and add the domain under "Addon Domains" in cPanel.

As for TLS (SSL), you will receive it automatically after around 2 hours of adding the domain.

EDIT: You can try adding it now. It should work.

Yes, ok. But where exactly do I go? Because it's a bit confusing to me. I went there on Addon Domains, I really did it, and then it added a subdomain and another root there automatically, I don't understand why. I don't wanna create a subdomain, I just need the new domain to be pointed to https://orangeadex.heliohost.org. and not to https://orangeadex.orangeadex.heliohost.org What have I done wrongly? Can you give me the procedures?

For it to be your primary domain, you need to use this script instead: http://www.heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain

Just make sure that you remove that domain from Addon Domains first before using the script.

Ok, I've just done it. Are you sure it won't give me problems? Because it seems to me that I've ever done something like that before... Like... I changed my domain once using those fields. I don't know. I just don't wanna come across something like https://orangeadextk.heliohost.org later.

I also deleted a folder there in my File Manager named orangeadex.tk. Is it ok? And I also tried to access the domain orangeadex.tk and this shows on the screen:

That folder was the remnant of the addon domain you added. It was fine to remove it. For now, wait for the domain to start working. Should take ~2 hours.

You might also want to disable SSL redirect (or add an exception to the .well-known directory) if you had one so that it can generate SSL without problems.

What if I don't disable SSL redirect? Will there be any problem? How do I add an exception to the .well-known directory? I think I can generate another SSL later.

Ok, now I can access it via the new domain. Do I have to reset the current SSL properties and then generate another SSL to make it accessible through HTTPS again? I always do this via ZeroSSL.

Ricky has autossl so you don't need to install ssl yourself with zerossl, it will automatically install it for you. Hence the name, autossl.
