steg Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 To be honest I jump between two Ubuntu, and Windows 7. depends how i feel and what i am upto. 7 is a half decent system basically the final release of Vista, without all the crap, problems and permission faults thrown in. Ubuntu just for easy of use and it look alright and does what it says on the tin..
syst3m Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I use Windows 7, and really like it. Of course it is Windows so it not perfect, but its a step up from Vista. If I had another computer, I would probably put either Fedora or Ubuntu on it though. Linux is pretty neat.
igndenok Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 For general purpose I use Linux (Debian, and now stick around with Fedora), I still use Windows (Windows Vista) on my little sister's laptop for gaming purpose.
andrewq2 Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 I use my own os o.O coded in assembly + C its only command is echo........ But for my development reasons i use Debian Linux or DamnSmallLinux on my net book if I'm traveling.
Dwight Breckenstein Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I use Windows 7, Windows Vista and Moblin
Mr.AMB Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 windows 7 But I'm trying to learn Linux at the moment, I always wanted to learn debian to be specific
electromoth Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 There's a serious problem with this poll: You cannot choose multiple systems. :/ Ubuntu is great, but Windows is due to available applications necessary.
trewelu Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Agree, I will choose three if possible. I used XP, then trying leopard before experimenting with linux (fedora). Lately i used fedora the most, and just use windows/mac occasionally. I triple boot my system though
antonevane Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I use Window, Linux - CentOS, (AIX), and Apple Leopard/Snow Leopard.
Mokothemonkey Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 i agree that things should be multiple because of school i am using windows a lot even though I own a mac with snow leopard on it. I really want to try out a linux, but don't know anything about it and would like someones insight on it
compgenius Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I used to use Gentoo and slackware on my computer I'm running as a server, but now I just run arch on it. But usually I just use my Windows Vista laptop(Nope, no problems with this vista)
orismology Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Windows 7 64 Bit. Awesome. I have loved windows 7 ever since I installed the RC last year.
Audality Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 well like nigh on every other poster in this thread im stuck on windows aswell, vista to be precise, my copy hasn't been too bad and i'ce worked a bit with it to make it less annoying. However if i get my new computer i might just install linux on my laptop harddrive. Ive had a decent history with several linux distros however mainly fedora and ubuntu.
