fuzmic Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Hi guys I can browse with google to https://peace2u.heliohost.org but when i try to browse to its joomla backup after entering password, google block saying it is a deceptive website. If i do it from firefox, no problem. To continue to do with google, i need to turn off safeBrowsing but then if safeBrowsing is turn on, same message & block. What do you think is happening?

Guest pooks Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 You have a site that talks about "data mining". This could be taken lightly as it could just be mistranslated into English. Its also VERY all over the place, so it doesn't seem to have a structured layout, which is common with deceptive websites to mislead people into clicking ads. In any event, it could just be your browser is outdated or a virus. To be honest, it could be a million things.

Also, press Submit/Post ONCE. Pressing it again can cause "Double Posting", which cause events like this. Edited December 19, 2019 by flazepe
Flaze Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 It's not saying deceptive website for me and safe browsing is enabled. I'm not sure how this could affect the backend though.
Krydos Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 It looks like this is already solved for OP, but if anyone comes across this thread by searching: You can create an account with google search console, and submit your site. If you get flagged as deceptive you can use that site to request to be unlisted. https://search.google.com/search-console/about
