unisan2 Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 I've a problem with the Forum phpbb: When i try to access, appears this message: General ErrorSQL ERROR [ mysqli ]Access denied for user 'unisan1_phpb443'@'localhost' (using password: YES) [1045]An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
Sn1F3rt Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Try deleting the /cache/container_dotslash.php and /cache/container_dotslashdotdotslash.php files.
unisan2 Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 (edited) There's no files with these names. I delete (after save them) this two files in /cache/production folder: container_4335734bbdd20f586549a504dff5f80c.php container_dbdbe80dc7030ae9bd39ee30cca82130.php but nothing. In the same folder there are other two files with same name, but with .meta extension... Edited October 8, 2019 by unisan2

Sn1F3rt Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 This might help: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2307966Scroll up to my post. Interestingly, that's where I drew the info for what I'd posted.
unisan2 Posted October 9, 2019 Author Posted October 9, 2019 I've tried to follow the tips, but nothing. Any other tips?
wolstech Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 I've a problem with the Forum phpbb: When i try to access, appears this message:General ErrorSQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Access denied for user 'unisan1_phpb443'@'localhost' (using password: YES) [1045] An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists. Try changing the password for that database user. Also, check your PhpBB configuration file (probably config.php or similarly named) and verify the password matches whatever you set it to. It's not a cache issue...it's a broken DB connection.
unisan2 Posted October 9, 2019 Author Posted October 9, 2019 (edited) I've tried to open config.php file in the Forum folder and I've seen that username and password are the same there were before Tommy crashed (I've a backup saved on July). I've tried to change the username and password (used to access at Forum), but nothing happened. Also I've uploaded the old folder Forum on the server, but the error message appears again. unisan2 Posted October 10, 2019 Author Posted October 10, 2019 Ok, I re-installed phpbb Forum and it works. But can anyone tell me how can I recover the material in old Forum? Thanks!
