[Solved] Ricky Invite request

As mentioned in other post, Tommy server users that made a donation can ask for a invite to create a Ricky account. So here I am.

 i downloaded BU of SQL DB but is there a way to get my PHP files ant other files that were stored on my FTP?

The archive lavieboo.tar.gz in your backup contains the files. You can open it using 7-zip on your PC.

 

I can't check the donation where I am at the moment.

i used the invite and all seams well

except after i restored the DB i cannot remotely connect to my DB's

what can be the problem

For MySQL databases you'll have to enableb remote connection through cPanel again.

 

For PostgreSQL DBs, it'll again have to be set up by Krydos for you. You can post them here, to enable remote connection.

i enabled my mySQL from cpanel and i still cannot connect

Did you put an IP or a % sign? Put an % sign as the IP and test just to be sure it's not the server. If you have a % sign in there already and it still won't connect, let us know. Odds are though that if it's not permissions, it's probably due to overloading (MySQL seems to be down a lot on Ricky...I've been getting tons of database errors on my website and applications).

I amnt so used to DBs but I think it should be only a % sign.

Yep, just a single % is all that's needed in that field. Try giving that a shot.

don't know if its due to that or just luck of load time

one final problem i cant accesses my php files that are in public folder

The first error is because NS1 is still broken.

 

The second error could be a number of things. First, make sure your PHP files are set to permissions of 644. Second, rename any .htaccess files you may have. Third, it might just be load.
