HelioHost Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Username: marksieg, Server: Tommy, Main domain: marksieg.heliohost.org Hi, After a week of enhanced activity to develop my site, my account wasclosed because of inactivity. This is quite annoying. Obviously youdefine "activity" only as logging into the cpanel. Could you not alsocheck ftp activity? Once an account has been set up, it is hardlynecessary to log into the "User Manager" any more, but there is enhancedftp traffic, if you develop your site. Best regards Mark marksieg on Tommy
Byron Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Your site is active, please clear your cache. Just make sure you login to your cpanel every 30 days.
Krydos Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 FTP doesn't earn us any ad revenue that we desperately need to stay in business. We could set it up to count FTP traffic, but then we'd go out of business that much faster.
Krydos Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 That said, I want to mention that we're doing a fundraiser to buy a new server right now. A $5 donation earns you double storage space, but I'm willing to give you inactivity immunity for each $5 you donate beyond the first $5. So it would work like this a $10 donation would earn you inactivity prevention for an extra month, then once that is up you will have the regular month you get for free before your account is considered inactive. So $10 = 2 months, $15 = 3 months, etc. I suspect $5 per month is more than we can reasonably expect to earn off each person from ads so it works out for both of us. We get a new server, and you don't have to worry about your account going inactive. Let me know if this is something that interests you and we can get it set up.
Krydos Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 https://www.gofundme.com/sparkie-server is the link to donate.
