Krydos Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Java is the service we offer that is in the highest demand. Unfortunately tomcat wasn't designed to run on a shared hosting environment so each account that has java enabled increases the total load of the server. For this reason we require users to request java access rather than enabling it on all accounts by default. That way the server load is only increased for people who are actually going to use it. The other issue is our servers have a finite cpu speed and memory limit. This translates to only a limited number of accounts being able to have java enabled at once. If the server is at maximum capacity a queue is formed where the account that requested java access first is the next to receive it. The estimated install date is based on how long it took for the last 30 accounts to have java enabled. In order to keep load levels low and provide Java support to the largest number of accounts we will remove Java access from any accounts that become suspended or inactive. Additionally, if the server is at maximum and there is a queue of accounts waiting to receive Java support we may need to remove Tomcat access from accounts that aren't using it. Your current estimated install date is 2018-07-18, but this number is just a rough estimate. It might happen much sooner or even later than that date. If you're interested in having java access sooner we recommend switching to the Tommy server where java is generally enabled in just a few hours.
