HelioHost Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I just tried at 5pm to get a Tommy account but its saying its full. fyi, more failures on your Johnny system including webemail - I tried all 3and either ending with a huge exception stack or timeout. I've tried evaluating your services for the past day and although I'd loveto like it, I continue to have issues on most fronts. Your only advice isto move to Tommy and I can't pay for anything given this service. The wayyou've set this up to delete a Johnny account and "hope" to get a Tommyaccount at 5pm is very troublesome. I love free, but if it does not work, free does not mean anything. In fact, I've spent a day on this and back atthe start. Additionally, nowhere have I worked do Dev, QA and Productionuse different scripts to bootstrap. The point is in dev/testing that thesystems are brought up in the same manner as production. Hand modifyingdev/qa/testing and hoping it works in prod is not a best practice. Johnnywas also completely unresponsive earlier - which is beyond a high load, itsbroken - even for a test env. You can't test anything if its broken. Iappreciate your efforts but I'm at a loss how you think anyone can useJohnny.
Krydos Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Johnny was unresponsive to you because you got blocked by the firewall for using the wrong username or password an excessive number of times. Johnny has actually had pretty good uptime today. As I've said multiple times Johnny is not intended to host a website that people other than just yourself testing things out will go to. Let us know if you have any other questions.
HelioHost Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 As I have said multiple times, Johnny is broken. My IP being blocked for FTP (because Addon broke) is not the reason cPanel w=as down or webmail exploded with exceptions (at 5pm after any blocking was u=nblocked).=20 Has nothing to do with who is viewing the site - broken code is broken code.= I cannot test anything when everything on the host breaks. How absurd. I'm not clear what you can do on Johnny.
