HelioHost Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Hi, Ive created my account, generated a couple of ftp users, but I can'tlogin with the simple command line ftp client in windows, after sending mypassword it replies: 530 Login authentication failed I can't access withfile explorer also, and can't upload my trial websitefrom VisualStudio (using FTP publish method) Is there some setting that is missing? Use these settings Host: johnny.heliohost.org Port: 1373 Protocol: SFTP Logon type: Normal User: beytecno Password: <same as cpanel> If your FTP client doesn't do SFTP you'll have to use insecure settings Host: johnny.heliohost.org Port: 21 Protocol: FTP Encryption: None Logon type: Normal User: beytecno Password: <same as cpanel>
