Filezilla Can't Connect

Thanks, I'll update my image to show only Plain FTP.

 

My filezilla is up to date. I just connected no problem using an FTP client on my phone. Maybe it's a firewall issue? Do you have any other ftp clients you recommend that I can test with?

Change the "Use Explicit FTP over TLS" shown in Byron's pictures on page 1 to "Only use Plain FTP (insecure)", specify port 21, and try it again (Byron's earlier port 21 post resulted in FZ autodetecting to FTPS, as evidenced by the line indicating Initializing TLS...).

 

Does it work in that configuration?

Maybe even rebooting your pc and rebooting your router.

I just rebooted the ftp server on Tommy. Let us know if this helps.

SFTP is working for me now.

OK it took a few tries but I was able to connect with SFTP, I'll post again if I have future issues.
