wolstech Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 So I cannot have /home/feeldumb/honeywebph/www as the root directory for honeywebph.tk on Johnny, this is what you are telling me? The new cPanel forces you to put stuff inside public_html by default, so it'd need to be /home/feeldumb/public_html/honeywebph/www/. It sounds like your request is that you want to use folders outside of public_html as the root for your other domains...there's a setting Krydos can change to allow that I think...
IFeelStupid Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 May I also have this restriction removed for the same reason? I am feeldumb on Johnny. Yes, it does seem that Krydos can change this, if he wishes. I have been trying to get this done for weeks now. It really would be a lot easier for me to recover my four websites, which I fortunately backed up, if I could set them up the way they were on Stevie. I refer to this post: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26744-johnny-subdomains/?hl=public_htmlWell, looks like Johnny is also down, so I cannot log in anyway.
