Redirecting Domains Web Page But Not Emails

Can anyone help me how to in cpanel redirecting domains web page, but not domains emails. Thx.

I have redirected mydomain.com to mynewdomain.com and the web works, after then created MX record from my.domain.com to stevie.heliohost.org, but it seems not working emails not comming - not receiving.

Should I in Simple DNS Zone Editor delete the

cname = mail.mydomain.com record = mydomain.com

and create new with

cname = mail.mydomain.com record stevie.heliohost.org (or IP 216.218.192.170)
