turn another one on and then go up the stairs...

 

the one with the bulb that is off but cool is the one you didn't turn on yet...

the one with the bulb that is off but warm is the one you turned on for 5 minutes...

the one with the bulb on is the one you left on...

I agree mostly, except I'd leave it at "can only reach 8" rather than walk the way up to lose weight
